Days Away !!!

It is in these moments that I truly wonder how people survive without a faith in the FATHER ... I am walking moment by moment with Him right now ... Only 2 more sleeps till I board a plane to Uganda to see my sweet children ... I have had Joseph's picture in my heart for a year now and have simply fallen in love w/ that smile and my sweet Daisy girl has given me such peace in this journey ... Her name alone is confirmation from the Lord that we are on HIS journey ... Just in case any one is just now joining the O Team blog, I will remind you of the fundraising shirts we used for our adoption that had a DAISY flower on them !!!  AND then one day in early August, Aunt Mary calls with the news of our daughter and tells me her name is DAISY ... Just like the Father to send us confirmation on our faith journey ...

I would be so thrilled and honored if you would all send up prayers Monday night here in United States before you go to bed since we will going to court on Tuesday the 6th in Uganda ...

New 147 spring tees will be on the website end of this week and I just want to remind you that I will be touching the children these shirts feed when I go to Uganda ... This trip holds so much for me ... I will be staying w/ Katie and meeting all of my sweet nieces plus visiting, feeding, and loving on so many of the children Amazima serves ... My heart has been longing for this moment ever since I met Katie ... I am desperate to go and see all that Uganda has and to touch all that God has planted in my heart for this country ...

I will do my best to update on blog and facebook, so stay tuned as the Oatsvall Team's story continues!

Oh, I can't wait to see those babies in your arms. We'll be praying for you. I have a precious child I sponsor there with Amazima...it's exciting to know you will be there in the midst of all these who are already in your heart. Your blog friends are expecting lots and lots of pictures when you get home.

God's peace, strength, and protection as you travel! I sent an e-mail a week ago to the three Amazima e-mails on their website about sponsoring children and meeting the local Amazima contacts (since we're local). Hadn't heard back and assume it's because you're getting ready for the trip of a lifetime! Maybe you'll come back with news of kids we can sponsor? Blessings to you as you collect your children and bring them HOME! Can't wait to see pictures!

Oh Gwen, we'll be praying and cheering as you go. I can only imagine how your heart is about to burst. I'll be praying for all that you will touch while you are there. It seems that I will be going to Uganda in July to the Sonrise Baby Home, since our lives are on hold w/hubbie's job and our inability to order a hstudy for now. I can't wait to hear about your children and what God has in store for you in Uganda. Love from this sista!!!

I couldn't agree more! To walk this journey without faith in GOD would be impossible! We are awaiting our 2nd trip to Bulgaria to bring our girls home, and it is SO hard. It has been over 2 months since I last held them. Every day is sad, every day my heart knows it is broken as half of it is an ocean away. But I KNOW GOD is working, and THEY will be home!!! That is all that is getting me through!

You are almost there, almost at the end of this journey and on to the journey of a lifetime as a family! Praise GOD! I am excited for you! :)

Is it possible to be as excited for someone else as you would be for your own "gotcha"?! Cause I'm stinkin PUMPED for you!! Have a great trip!!! We'll be here praying and waiting to hear all the details!

De-lurking to say Hi! I've recently started reading the 147 blogs and you guys are all such an encouragement to me. We are in the beginning steps of pursuing domestic adoption and I am so excited i can't stand it! Just the number 147 million makes my heart ache and I'm overwhelmed at the thought of being able to put a little dent in it.

Will be praying for your trip and court date!
