BLOGS ????

ARE OUR BLOGS BECOMING OBSOLETE ?  Just wondering how we feel about our blogs these days ? I definitely don't write on mine as much anymore nor do I have the time to check in on all of you  (as much as I would like too)  ...

So many of you I follow on FB, twitter, or instagram and I feel I get such a cool peek into your daily lives  ...

and to be honest there are days when I feel like I have said it all for this season of my life ... You know how passionate I am about SPEAKING UP FOR ORPHANS ... You know I love love love my family ... You know I have admitted to being a big ole mess and thankful God could use the scraps I give him to further his Kingdom ... What else is there to say as we go into 2013, but that WE MUST W/ OUT A DOUBT BEGIN LOVING ONE ANOTHER BETTER AND SERVING THE LORD ...

Don't take the easy road because on most days that is NOT where GOD is ... He is in the hard places and the dirt ... He is with the sick people ... He is sitting next to the dying ... He is bringing water to the thirsty ... He is and always will be with HIS PEOPLE ... And when I say people I MEAN ALL OF THEM - red, yellow, black, and white from ALL OVER THE WORLD ... There are NO boundaries to our FAMILY ...  THE WORLD is our brothers and sisters !!!

The overflow of blessings you will feel won't be measurable and has eternal value ... GIVE YOUR LIFE AWAY because it not only changes you, but all those that watch you (especially your children) ...

SIGNING OFF FOR 2012 ... may 2013 break our hearts for what breaks his and bring us the JOY that is unexplainable with words !!!

thanks for always checking in and for the many prayers !!! blessings to you and yours !!!

I agree!! This week is actually my last week of blogging. After four and half years I have decided to stop. Just don't have time and will have even less time in the New Year! I often check in on you when you post. Hope to see you again at C4C will you be there in January?

Yes - mine is very neglected. I'm thinking about signing off.

But I remember starting the process and during the process that is all I did to pass the time and stay informed.

I know a lot of bloggers have stopped writing, which makes me oh.so.sad.

My life has been so very broken the past 2 years, that I truly don't even know what to write. I lost a lot of readers when I got honest about life being HARD. Lots of people just don't want to read about "hard".

On the flip side, I feel so fake when I write about fluff stuff.

But . . . in the midst of all of my pain and brokenness . . . I need all of your blogs. I need to see life . . . I need to see hope . . . I need my blog friends more than any of them know. When life is crashing down around me, I always know I can find my blog friends. So, all that to say, I am oh.so.sad. that so many have stopped writing.

Blessings to you and your family in 2013. I hope we won't lose your voice in blog land, too.

Yes, we all need to love one another more than ever. I continue to blog even though Facebook is "easy". I make the blog into a family book, it is the only way I will make a family photo album, so it still works for me.
Happy New Year 2013!

As a senior citizen in a retirement home who is mostly homebound, and as my children will have no children of their own, I have so enjoyed following chinese adoption blogs. Those of you who continue to blog just know it brightens my day so much and my family tease me when I go to visit and miss a blog update. I don't do facebook or the other social mediums, so the blogs are so important to my lifestyle. Thank you to those who continue to blog and good-luck to those who choose not to. Best wishes to all in the New Year. mm,vancouver,wa.

I am one who resists the need to be "connected" all the time. I don't have an iPhone...no twitter...no FB..no social media...I read blgs...your blog...to learn about other adoptive families daily lives...I feel less alone...someone understands the "hard" days we experience. I appreciate your blog. God Bless you in the new year.
