"MAMA COME"
I don't have any pictures since I am on Scott's computer and somehow my camera got wet today at the pool ... SHOCKER I KNOW !!! ... I will steal Suzanne's soon ... The MAYVALL'S (Oatsvall and Mayernick Families) are doing so well ... They kids are playing, swimming, watching basketball, using the potty every 5 minutes, eating everything in site, and looking forward to our DISNEY TRIP tomorrow ... Yep we will be 22 people strong STORMING Disney together (and reping the 147 gear)... Suzanne and I are blessed enough to have some great friends and family joining us on this trip to help out w/ the kids and allow us to enjoy FL as a big family ... THANK YOU BOOBOO/RETTA/ANNA/ABBY/MALLORY ...
So now to the REAL stuff ... Daisy is always telling me "MAMA COME" ... no matter if she wants me to sit beside her, get in the pool w/ her, sleep w/ her, eat w/ her, or take her to the potty ... She simply wants me w/ her and it has me thinking about the 147 MILLION ORPHANS of the world that are whispering in their hearts, yelling in the sleep, or dreaming daily of "MAMA COME" ... This is not going to be a new challenge from me because I am a broken record when it comes to the orphan crisis, but if God has put it on your heart in any capacity to consider adoption then please take the next step ... There is NO GUESS work about it because their are children WAITING for "MAMA COME" ...
Each time Daisy says it, I can literally hear the Lord calling me ... It is HIS voice I hear coming out of that angelic little voice ... It is His eyes that light up when we cuddle up together or jump in the pool...
I just can't say enough how the adoption journey starts with one BIG HUGE FAITH STEP ... From a new tired, exhausted, joyful, happy, stressed, crazy, peaceful mother of 6, I can say each minute is worth it ... A CHILD IS WORTH IT ...
MORE TO COME FROM FLORIDA ...

Who loves to hear Momma come - even after all these years!
Oh my, you had me in tears at "mama come." My husband gave me his blessing on my birthday last week to adopt another. "Mama is coming." Don't know where we're going yet, but God is already leading.
Congratulations on finally having your precious Daisy and Joseph home! Enjoy your special trip to Disney!
God Bless,
Kathie
Nothing better in the world than hearing Momma!!! SOOO Excited for you all. May God richly bless your time together as a family of 6 with friends and family! LOVE IT :)
Yes, "Mama is comin'".
We have 11 children, but the LORD isn't done yet. We feel that we are to bring home a 6 year old boy from China. Please pray for us. Even though we have done this a few times, we need a waiver from China to OK our adoption of our little guy....but we feel he is ours and I love posts like this. It is why we can't stop yet, or turn our eye's from the little faces we see.
Glad you're enjoying your time here!! I didn't know you were in town!! Praying for you all as you adjust and enjoy some down time!!
I have been blessed by reading your posts about your journey and your heart for your children and for the 147 million orphans. We have just begun the process to adopt from Rwanda, and cannot wait to post about coming home with our little man!

love this post. no dry eyes here. i can't wait to be that "mama" to some one day soon. hopefully it will not be too long now. i would do it today if i could. but at least i get to be "auntie natali" to kids in Mali next year. but within me i think they'll become my babies and i their mama. i just want to hug them and kiss them, and tell them they are loved by me and most importantly by Him. and what that means. gosh, my heart just wants to melt into a puddle. only 6 months left in the countdown 'til i move to mali, west africa.
so precious! can't wait to be with all of you soon. Have SO much fun being together, I pray the days are long with love and bonding! Hope Disney is everything it should be for y'all and hope the girls are princessed beyond belief! Yippee! Tell everyone hello:)
Love you sweet girl....and I just thought I'd let you know.....I have ANOTHER DAUGHTER.....and the best part is....I found her....I'll call you when you get back.... ;)

Your words are always an inspiration to me! I posted something from your blog onto my blog the other day. After reading your words, I just couldn't hold it in any longer! SO MANY people tell my husband and I, "I'd like to adopt...someday" That someday gets forgotten...the cries of the orphan that they heard are forgotten. Thank you for reminding us all that there are little children crying out, "Mama, Come!". I hear their cries....
Oh, Gwen..... this post just ripped out my heart..... it's so true..... so many little hearts crying out around the world.... many of them not even able to truly understand what or "who" they are crying out for because they have never experienced a kind touch.... a soothing word... someone to love them, nurture them, and make the world a safe place while they are in their Mama's arms.....
I think you need to make a t-shirt that says Mama Come on the front and your words-147 MILLION ORPHANS of the world that are whispering in their hearts, yelling in the sleep, or dreaming daily of "MAMA COME" ... It needs to be shared.... I pray the heart wrenching truth of it does break hearts and cause people to find the courage and faith to step up and out and find their children!!! They are calling!!!
Gwen, I pray your week is blessed beyond blessed.
And, I know Abby....just learned she was with you in Florida. Abby leaves in the town neighboring ours. Small world, huh?
Tell her Robbie, Josie-Tatum's Mama, said Hello.
I am so thankful for how many kids have mamas because of your two families! Our son will be one more!
Right now I am saying- I'm coming if that dad gum paperwork will move a little faster!
I know. I thought the same thing (and even wrote a post with the same title, except in my rotten Mandarin) right after we brought our six year old daughter home from China last July 26. Mama come. It just breaks my heart to think of it.
