2,971 KIDS FED AFTER ONE DAY OF SELLING 147 PRODUCT !!

I just know when I get to Uganda and see the precious faces of the Karomajong children and touch all the children in the Amazima program this will be even sweeter, but for now the feeling in my heart is about to overflow ... In just one day of setting up at Shopapalooza event at a local church  and selling our 147 MILLION ORPHAN GEAR, we will be donating to Katie/Amazima meals for 2,971 children !!!! The FIRE is here people ... WE ARE GETTING IT ... I saw precious people who had never heard of Katie or 147 listen to Suzanne and I as we shared our hearts for ORPHANS and how they could help us, plus give a gift to another that spreads the cause ... It is a total WIN WIN  .... We even got to minister to a few people searching for their place in all this and come face to face with a few blog followers whom we had never met .... God was showing us HIS presence yesterday and it was beautiful ... To find your place here on earth and know your purpose is peaceful !!! A day like yesterday is worth all the sleepless nights, the extra pounds (oh you heard me right) and the messy house ...

So Karomajong Children .... WE SEE YOU ... Michael, Hannah, Gloria, and all the thousands of others ... WE SEE YOU .... WE CARE .... YOU ARE REAL TO US .... You are our brothers and sisters in Christ  !!!

Hope your day is blessed and I thank everyone praying for my phone to ring ... I am thinking God loves it and is blessed to see so many who have never laid eyes on each other praying for my PHONE TO RING ... He probably even gets a little chuckle out it ...

We are off today to visit Dr. Phillip Kemp's (Dentist) office ... He is having an orphan awareness day at his office ... Staff all have 147 Million Gear on and will be selling stuff plus he is donating 10% of his proceeds to help us feed children in Uganda .... THIS MAN AND HIS FAMILY GET IT !!!!  His wife's blog is FROMDATINGTODIAPERS.BLOGSPOT.COM ... jump over there and tell her WHHOOOOOHOOOO and WAY TO GO ... If more local businesses found their mission and cause then we could really see some change in this world ... YEAH, DOCTOR KEMP !!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this post!! How EXCITING to see so many people "getting" it! I know God has certainly opened my eyes, and He's at work all around me. Thanks for the sleepless nights, the messy house & the extra pounds (although I can't see them). I'm confident that God cares MUCH more about your heart and the "deeds" that go with your faith than all of that! And I do, TOO! I'm praying for Daisy and Joseph and Josie Love this morning and for your families.

Oh, how incredible! You seem so clear on your calling, & I am jealous! :) (in a good way, of course!) It is such a blessing to read about you pursuing God by serving others. It makes me think that God can get me there, too!

Congrats on the Shopapalooza girls!!! Looks awesome! I got our new shirts last week and it was awesome seeing the excitement of my 6 yr old as we discussed adoption and orphans. He gets it... :) He tells his dad he wants another brother, but we need to adopt him! I pray his dad hears the call. :)

And I was trying to check out the blog link... it doesn't work, but I put 'from' in front of it and think it's the one you were trying to link too. Congrats again and what an awesome way for a professional to involve his practice! Praise God!

Gwen, I've been following your journey and Katie's as well for a little while now. My friend Amanda actually talked to you a few months ago about ministry in Uganda. We have three beautiful Ugandan daughters - one of which is Karamajong. The Karamajong have become so close to my heart because of this. I am encouraged and blessed every time I read of another person who has a heart for this group of people. Thank you for all you do!

Thank you all at 147 million for your dedication and SERVICE! Messy house? Extra pounds? What does it matter to God? What is the BIG picture? Thank you for reminding me. WOW, this is so AWESOME!!! You truly are in inspiration & I can't believe your ears are not burning all the time becasue I talk about your journey & how God has moved your family.

I am getting ready to make my order & I was wondering if the "Pick Me Daisy" Ragland ran small? I noticed the XL was 6-8. Trying to decide between that & the "Pick Me Instyle Longsleeve". Would appreciate your input.

Keep up the good work, it is definitely working!!!!

WONDERFUL!!!!! Oh thank God.

I have to confess, I show the kids pics of Kate's blog when ever I feel they are being ungrateful about anything and even dum dum sucker choosiness! Jacob will say "Mom, I think Chloe needs to see the box again, and remember some people have to live in one..." If he feels Chloe isn't sharing something she should;)
March on sweet sister!
