Seriously Lord, Again ???

I finally put away all the baby clothes and blankets, returned the infant car seat to my friend this past Sunday, and have the moses' basket baby bed by the back door to return to my other friend and WHAT HAPPENS ????? Yep, you guessed it ... phone call from my SW about a baby leaving hospital tomorrow ...

Here is where I made the mistake ... I returned all the stuff and said I was NEVER doing interim care again ... God loves to take my words and show me who is boss ...

So prayer warriors, we need to start praying again for birth mom, baby (to be named once I see her adorable angel face), and for the adoptive parents who don't even know they are going to be called and given the best gift in this world !!!!

"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one one who sent me." Mark 9:37

WELCOME little one to our home !!!!

22 kind words.:

Oh.My.Word.

Yep, He absolutely perks up when we say "never again". I have learned this myself! Ever hear the saying, "You'll eat those words!" Kind of the same thing except I know y'all will be eating this baby up from the moment you receive this child! How you do it is beyond my comprehension!!!

BTW, I still have a few baby things if you ever have a need. I really do not know why but they are here nonetheless! ;)

Oh, Gwen.... what a beautiful reflection of Jesus you are. Isn't God amazing how He gently places something (or someone) in our path and equips our heart, mind, and hands to say, "Yes, Lord..." I know if it were me it would definately take the grace and strength of the Lord to let the little one go when the time came... How lovely it must be to be the hands and mouthpiece of the Lord for these little ones...
I will be praying.
Love,
Daleea

Oh Gwen! What a precious job God has for you. Caring for His little ones as they await their forever families. Praying for you as you do the interim care that is oh so important in these little ones lives. What an awesome priviledge you offer us to pray for your family and for this baby girl too. Praying for you...

God obviously has plans for the Oatsvalls! He knows your heart so well. You also amaze me, cuz I don't think I could ever do that, either (just b/c I get so attached SO fast). I know they're borrowed, but I wouldn't get rid of the baby stuff...you guys are meant to do this; I'm positive of that (your SW obviously knows that, too)

Gwen,
I will be praying for this wonderful blessing coming to your home! I just wanted to let you know that your story is so uplifting to me. I go to FBC-Smyrna, and you look so familiar I am sure I have seen you at church! We are adopting from China and our paperwork finally leaves our hands for China Monday. It has been such a long journey all ready and to be able to read these amazing stories just makes me even more excited to bring our little girl home.
Thank you for sharing!
