My Texas Sister Is On A New Journey ...

Many of you followed my sweet friend Emily Alexander while in Ethiopia to bring home sweet angel Abe ... Her post today brings so many tears and emotion ... You see they have now discovered that Abe had strokes in his birth mother's womb which has resulted in brain damage ... I am not sure words can describe all they are feeling, so please stop by their blog and read Emily's latest post ... It challenged me as a follower of Christ, it encouraged my walk, it made me fall to my knees for this amazing family, and brought me closer to the Father ... Please pray for them all !!!

Dearest Emily, I have told you many times over the past couple of weeks that you will not journey alone ... I love you so much and will be honored to be one of your prayer warriors ...

You have no idea the comfort that I feel knowing that I am not walking alone! Little did we know exactly what He had planned for our lives when He knit our hearts together one evening last year in Nashville. He knew that I would need your support, your love, your unwavering faith in a Father that loves us far more than we can ever comprehend!

I can't wait to see the blessings that He has in store for all of our lives- I just KNOW that He will be glorified in ways that we just can't imagine through my little Ethiopian angel! So thankful that you will be right by my side to witness!

I'm needing that Nashville visit now more than ever sister.

I love you!

Amen Gwen.
You cannot imagine the connection I feel to this family. Our adopted son Sam also suffered a brain injury as an infant. What a priveledge it is to pray for them knowing first hand the miracles God has in store for their lives!
Hoping to see you again soon!
