A Hurting Family ....
I have a sweet friend hurting today ... This family has received news that they will not be able to adopt two precious children they have been advocating for over a year to bring home unless God brings them a miracle... They have been visiting these precious angels and considered them part of their family. I ask you all to pray for them and pray God's will be done ...
Adoption is a journey that is hard to explain at times, hard to understand, and even harder to get your heart strings around ... I know as a community we can wrap our prayers around them as we do many others ... I appreciate how my blog family always stays on their knees ... I appreciate you more than you know ... As God says, "a strand of 3 cords is not easily broken" ... We will be those strands for one another ...
Love You All ...

Praying for your friends as they try to come to terms with this. Heartbreaking!
I was just reading these verses in my Bible this morning, and I will pray for them. Psalm 5:1-2 Give ears to my words, O Lord, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help my King and my God, for to you I pray. We can not help but "sigh" and pray for all those who are hurting in their wait to love children.
OH Gwen, my heart aches for these sweet friends of yours! I will most definitely be standing in the gap for this precious family....praying for GOD's perfect will to be evident to them...and that HIS peace will cover them!
Love you sweet friend!
Denise
Gwen,
My heart goes out to your friends. I cannot imagine how deeply they are hurting right now. I will pray that God gives them the strength to get through this and that He reveals His plans for their family.
I am so sorry..... I will be praying for God's will and God's comfort..... I will be praying for that miracle if it is His will..... He can do all things.
Lord please bring these little ones home to their forever family... whoever they may be. If it is not this family please oh please mend their broken hearts...
In Jesus Name, Amen
Sending them prayers now and will remember them in our prayers and the children..
I'm so sorry about your friends. They must be devastated... I will pray for them, and that God's will will be accomplished
This is just heartbreaking. I will keep them in my prayers.
I will be lifting them up in prayer. They will always carry those children in their hearts. I will pray for comfort, peace and direction.
I will pray for this family. This is just heartbreaking news.
I just had a friend go through a similar situation. Her's was a private adoption and she had taken the birth mother to ever Dr. appt. The baby was born and had to be in the NICU for a few days. My friend stayed with him for 3 nights with out the birth mother and then the birth mother changed her mind. It was very painful for my friend. She held on to Jesus with everything she has. She has grieved as it was a terrible loss. I will pray for a miracle for your friends.
Blessings,
Cecelia
Oh, how this hurts......we will be praying for them as well.
Gwen Oatsvall, you are about the most precious thing EVER, did you know that?
Your blog has Jesus' love written all over it. What a blessing you are.
:o)
Oh how my heart aches for them. I never had the pleasure of touching W and B and my heart loved them just the same. Will pray for a peace that only the Lord could bring to them.
I'm really sorry to hear this and I will be praying. We still have a daughter waiting in Romania. She just turned 13. We first saw her when she was 6. We maintain contact with her and she calls us Mommy & Daddy. So, my heart really goes out to your friends.
