Emotional Day ...

Today has been a very emotional day and I must share ... 1st off, have I told you lately how bright Miss Maggie is ... She is learning at such an amazing rate that I am amazed by her every day ... This morning I was getting the girls ready for church (Maggie's first time) and I was putting Emily's hair in pick-tails and I was doing Maggie's hair in her famous One-Sided pony when she handed me another rubber band and pointed to the other side of her head where there isn't any hair and wanted another ponytail to be like her sister ... I just teared up ... Oh how I wanted to put another ponytail in that beautiful head ...

So, off to church we go ... I walked in and sat down and when the music began I felt God saying this is just for Maggie ... The music just washed over us and I felt thankful to be in a country where we can praise the Lord, we can pray, and Maggie can hear about Jesus everyday ... So the tears just flowed again...

There is so much about our life that seems to be up in the air right now, but the one constant and every powerful presence is the Lord ... He is holding us, standing beside us, walking in front of us and watching over us ...

Your comments are becoming light to my soul !!!! Love You All ...

Maggie IS amazing...she is an overcomer! I'm so glad that God met you where you needed Him to this morning...give all your kiddos a big squeeze from the Doctors (and give yourself one too, while you're at it!)

You are all in my prayers... I pray one day Maggie will have both of those pig tails. And that she grows up knowing how incredible and beautiful she is. How I thank the Lord that she is safe with her family and that she will grow up knowing Him, loving Him and serving Him. I love that she will know that Jesus is with her each moment of every day of her life...
Sweet dreams and God's peace.

It is amazing how God can speak to us through others at church.
Our pastor was speaking and tears just flowed from me as well.
I knew I needed to go talk to him after the service and have a time of prayer with him.
I am thankful for being able to read of others and their walk with the lord.Thank you for sharing.
There are brighter days ahead for all of us I know.

Church is always very emotional for me as well....during the busy week, the weekend.... it's so hard sometimes to feel his presence....but when I walk into church I know he is right there with all of us.

We've been talking about you quite a bit hear...lifting your family up in prayer and hoping that things are getting better.

Hugs to you girl and your clan....hope we can talk again soon.

Maggie was in my heart yesterday during mass. My husband and daughter have gotten used to my tears during church. Usually, it's because I'm longing for our LOA and Josie, yesterday it was to give praise to your family and Maggie.

Continued blessings,
Kim K.

This was a emotional post along with your emotional day. I like what you said about " He is holding us, standing beside us, walking in front of us and watching over us ..."
Hold on to that. Many times we have to remember the foot prints in the sand. When we look back later down the road we know that it was God who carried us through those tough times.
Stay encouraged.

Gwen, you and your sweet family are giving God such beautiful presents in the way you are honoring and praising Him. I pray that your family would continue to be strengthen by God's right hand and that He would show you each day how much He loves His children.

Maggie doesn't know it yet but God gave her two parents on this earth that will teach her all she needs in Jesus's eyes.

LOVE TO YOU!!!
