How Can You Pray ???

My sweet Maggie is definitely under attack ... Her screaming tantrums are up to about 6 hours a day and 3 hours at night (and getting worse each day), she isn't sleeping, and she has decided that she doesn't like anyone in the house, but me (and that is iffy at times).

Scott and I have completely removed our needs from this equation. This isn't about us or how she feels about us, but this is about healing one of God's children and restoring her. My heart breaks about a million times a day for her. She doesn't know how to let me comfort her, she doesn't trust really anyone, and her spirit is scared to death. The other 3 kids are holding on well and loving each other. They are confused a little, but understand her heart is hurt.

So just continue to send your wonderful prayers to Maggie. I am amazed everyday at the comments. Please know I read them all and they wash over my spirit and give me strength (along with Mtn. Dew and Chocolate). Pray for healing, pray for trust, pray the power of the Lord to place a shield around her heart for protection. This child could not be more of my soul if she tried and I ache to have her whole and restore the twinkle that is in her eyes when she laughs ...

Maggie, Mama Loves You!!!!!!

I prayed for you all the way home yesterday. I will continue to pray for Maggies healing, physical, and otherwise. I will also continue to pray for your strength. I know how tired you feel physically, but I also know God only gives us what we can handle. He choose you. For your strength, your heart, and your passion. Blessed to call you friend, and learn from you. Love you.

Praying everytime I think of your family, which is often! Hold on, Gwen. God Will restore sweet Maggie. Sleep whenever she does, make lots of crockpot meals, soups, chicken, roasts, spagetti sauce can be made in crockpots. You probably know this...

My heart is very heavy for you..God keeps bringing to mind the song with the words, Praise you in the storm, Maybe that's the title. Hold on.

Oh Gwen, I am so sorry. Obviously things got worse after we talked. Please know that we are lifting you all up in prayer.

If any woman can do this, it is you!

Gwen - Maggie was placed with you for a reason. God does not give us more than we can handle. Maggie has to be scared to trust anyone. Continue to love her, comfort her, and be there for her. She will eventually come around.
Our prayers are with you and your family.

God Bless!

My little girl had a difficult adjustment, as well. She got to where she was okay in China, but she definitely suffered a set back when we got home. The house was so full with her siblings, grandma (who had stayed with the kids) and the dogs, I think it just overwhelmed her. She got a little better each week and 4 years later she seems healed. I understand the pain in your heart and I pray that God will give you the patience and wisdom to know how to comfort that your sweet child.

Dearest Oatsvall's,
I, like so many others, are saddend by Maggie's pain. But at the same time, I am uplifted and encouraged. We do not attend church as we should and I am looking forward to finding a church home. Nonetheless, my faith is very strong. I know without doubt that God's plan is perfect. He chose you all for Maggie. She is a treasure and will bless your family in so many ways! I will continue prayer and look forward to positive changes!!! I believe in you!

Gwen,
Ask the doctor to give you something to help her rest and calm down...you, too for that matter. I just worry about the two you. Also, have you considered therapy for Maggie? It could help all of you guys transition. Wish there was more we could do. We love and miss you guys.
