My Days Are Filled With ...

My days are filled with waking sleeping children and motivating them for the day ahead. Elijah's mornings are rough, but getting better. I read to his class this week in my best Dr. Seuss voice, bought Jeremiah a mouth guard for his first ever flag football game this Saturday, ran a total of 13 miles so far this week and got Emily's hair cut.

Had a slight breakdown last night about Maggie, but thanks to Nikki and her sweet words I made it through. She put it so real to me... I can have my faith placed fully in the Lord and I am allowed to cry too ... which brings me to another "My Days Are Filled With" fabulous friends and family that check in on me, pray for me, and prop me up when I am falling.

My devo this morning was all about God as my friend and it said "Nothing is wasted when it is shared with Me(God)", so I cried out to Him and was desperate for Him to hear my longing need and concerns for my sweet daughter. And He heard me !!!!

19 kind words.:

I know you can hardly wait to get your daughter. I am praying that it will be soon. I am lifting you in prayer as you wait for her. God is taking care of that precious little girl until you can get there to bring her home. He will not leave us nor forsake us. He holds us in the palm of His hand.
Praying for you, my friend.

The picture is just precious!

I think about you and Maggie everyday. I pray that you get your LOA soon. I know how much your whole family wants to have her home.

And I'm glad Mr. Elijah is starting to come around about kindergarten.

Your days are filled with so many wonderful things, Gwen! That picture of "Emiwee" is precious and I can't wait to show it to Lily...she misses her friend. I miss mine too (sniff)...glad to be there for you the other nite. I am always here! I love you and appreciate so much that God put us in each other's lives. Your friendship is something that I hold very dear!

Cute pic!!! Kelsey has a shirt like that except hers says "My Mom Rocks". I should probably take a pic of her wearing it before she gets old enough to change her mind! HA!

Praying for you! =]

Your honesty is refreshing - know that you are covered in prayer over here too - the wait is SO long and hard, but the end is all worth it - hmmm, I'm thinking God has you preparing for a marathon for a REASON!!!!!

Emily looks so adorable!

I know the wait is so hard for your little Maggie. Gwen, be comforted by the truth that God is watching over her. I am praying that Maggie feels your family's love and God's arms around her.

WOW! Slow down and let the rest of us catch our breath. 13 miles this week. I haven't even had time to walk that, unless I count the walking I do in the hallways;)
We also have our first flagfootball game today. Should be fun.

Precious picture! What would we do without God's Word to refresh, encourage, strengthen and council us. I sure have been depending on it much lateley myself. I know this waiting is hard. My prayers will be with your family and Maggie as well.

Gwen,
Please come by and see the gorgeous graphic that Verna did for the Baby Shower. It's on today's post and it is just beautiful. I'm hoping to have everyone put it on their sidebars.
