My Posting from FACEBOOK ...

This was my post this morning from FACEBOOK and it is worth repeating in the blogworld ... I have been wrestling with a way to say what has been placed on my heart by the LORD and this how it comes out ...

"There are children waiting in orphanages around the world - THEY WILL STAY WHERE THEY ARE, IF WE STAY WHERE WE ARE ... my thought for the day.!? so much to process in it ... this thought has been popping in my head for about a month, so I am throwing it out there."

Answering the call,

17 kind words.:

Was so excited this morning when a couple at church today announced that they are beginning the adoption process for Emily from Uganda!

I love reading your blog!! My husband and I have been Trying to Conceive for 9 years with no luck. We were going to go the adoption route but everytime we were getting close to getting money together something came up. Job loss, house loss, it just keeps falling on us. With so many kids available for adoption why do they make it so expensive to where my hubbie and I can't do it. I get so frustrated because we would make great parents but where do you even start to get the money to do it.

I am new to your blog (found it through another blog), and I am so glad that I clicked on it just now. Orphan advocacy is new to me, but already close to my heart. We hope to begin the adoption process in the next year or two, but I'm not planning to let that stop me from making a difference in the meantime. Thank you for posting this!

I Love it!! So true.

I have felt this huge burden that there needs to be some kind of a way to set up funds for waiting children (kind of like Reece's Rainbow does for special needs kiddos). I am not sure how one even goes about this but perhaps if more had the finances the waiting children might not have to wait so long.

I am really praying about this and seeing where God is leading me. It all just seems so overwhelming.

I love your heart.

I would like to move from where i am to grab a few more, but hubby says NO....perhaps you can help me out with that through prayer...i feel the same and it breaks my heart-breaks my heart. I go to bed every night thinking of these children...Thanks for sharing what again is always on your heart too!

Oh Gwen, I still read, but rarely comment. However I had to drop a note on this one, as the same thoughts have been placed in my heart, as well. I continue to pray that my husband's heart will be burdened with the same sense of urgency. I'm certain we will add to our family through adoption again...it's just a matter of when?! In the meantime, I want to help spread the word and plant seeds of thoughts into the hearts and minds of others. What a great FB post. I need to add you to my 'friends'!! I just may borrow and repost it myself. God bless you and your beautiful, beautiful heart!! <><

Hugs,
Tanya

Very profound thought. AMEN!!! We are trying to bring home our first adopted child from Uganda, and I'm so glad we aren't staying where we are or that our daughter is staying where she is at. :) Praise Him!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eeoGYyvhvs
This is our video of what we are doing to try to bring home our treasure.

Renee,

I know God can make it come together! I've posted a comment on your blog, but don't know where the best place to reach you is. Do not give up. Don't. There is a way.

Gwen,
I sent this to my hubby and am so glad you put it on the blog. I hardly ever have access to facebook anymore...anyway we know we are to adopt again but have been figuring out the how, and just know we need to trust and just do it!
