Happy 20th Scott ...
Tomorrow on the 29th, I will celebrate my 20th anniversary ... Hard to believe that when I was 14 years old I met my husband and now we are celebrating our 20th !!!! I have known Scott more than 1/2 my life ... I could say a lot about him as a friend, father and husband, but it all boils down to the fact that I still get giddy on our date nights !!! I am so excited about tomorrow for so many reasons ... 20 years is such a milestone, I feel like our family is complete, I feel like so many bright days are still ahead of us, and I just simply love my husband ...
I am thankful to the Lord for being the center of our life because it hasn't always been that way ... We have had some pretty tough roller coaster rides and amazingly sun days in our 20 years ... It is all those moments that make us who we are as a couple and I am proud to be Scott's wife ... We have watched each other grow up, change, and find our way together as a family ... The one thing that brings me so much peace and comfort is the fact that no matter the emotion or situation of the moment, day, or year I know Scott and I are in the same corner ... He is my ROCK here on earth ...
I pray the next 20 brings us even more joy and service to the LORD ... I pray that my children can have a marriage like the one we try to model in front of them ... There is never a desire for perfection, but a spirit of giving, compassion, and love ... I pray we can honor the Lord by serving one another and also serving others ...
I can still remember our first kiss !!! Happy 20th Anniversary Scott !!! YOU ARE STILL THE ONE !

WOW! Today is our 20th anniversary also - We literally got married on the same day way back then. We were married in Memphis, but live in VA now.
Here's to another 20 years and thanks for mailing the red sweat-shirt. I wore it in my new blog picture!

Congratulations!!! I met my husband when I was 13 and he 14, but we weren't as quick on our feet as you two were. Although we knew each other the whole time and talked periodically (and I had major heart palpitations whenever we did!!!), we didn't marry until I was 30 and he 31.
Oh, and I love the high school photo of you two. Brings back soooo many memories of that era. Yikes! :)
