I'll comment! I'll comment! I love hearing your sweet voice :) I've only met you one time in person...briefly at the fundraising concert you held awhile back before you got Joseph and Daisy. So this helped me feel like I was meeting you again! My family loves our 147 gear and we love praying for the orphans in the world right along with you.

Now where can I get me an accent like that? LOL.

Good job on the video blog. I'm a teacher, so I'm gonna give you just one itty-bitty piece of constructive criticism. And that's to try to give more eye contact, if possible. That's all!

Keep up the good work! :)

You are so precious!

I'm so sad I don't think I'll make it up to the Hershey tomorrow to meet you and Suzanne. I'm trying but it is NOT looking good :-(

Hugs and much love - our prayers are with you!

Your 1st VLOG post ROCKS!
I LOVE IT! But somehow "seeing" you makes me miss you even more! Matthew and I have got Miss Maggie COVERED in prayer from Hong Kong!
In addition, I cannot wait to see the impact the hearing aids have for Joseph. Any luck with simple signing language? That was a real life saver for us when Sam had expressive communication delays!
Thanks for keeping us posted.
Love & Miss Ya,
Kim

Loved your video. I am used to hearing and speaking the "great Australian drawl", ie we tend to drag out our words so your accent is just delightful and you speak so fast. I am a regular reader and love everything you say and do.
God bless you and all your family.

Loved the video blog! Hearing your voice took me back to our walking days! I was telling the girls about one of our adventures the other day. Do you remember when we got caught in the thunderstorm and had to take cover in someone's garage until a neighbor lady took us home?

Hope to see more video blogs from you in the future!

SleepyMom said...

The video format was great and I was surprised how little accent you have. I grew up in TN but haven't lived there for over 10yrs. Surely the videos would save you a bunch of time over the writing - seems to work for you!

You are such a DOLL Gwen! I love reading your blog and seeing your heart and your desire to glorify him in all that you do. Getting to hear and see who you are in real life is so fun. I will be praying for your family and all the upcoming endeavors you will be going through.
Many Blessings to you, Jenn

You are adorable! So fun to hear your voice and be able to connect it to you. :) Love hearing the update about your littles. Thanks for being an inspiration to us all about how 1 person can be used by a BIG God to do BIG things.

Jenn in GA said...

that was so informative and fun! sort of like a skype chat with the world! i think you should do these more than writing, as you can cover a ton more--think how long it would've taken to WRITE all that out!--and we get to HEAR your heart...literally.

have a great time in hershey! be sure to have some chocolate!

ADORABLE, Gwen! I loved it!
Also love hearing from your sweet little mouth all the things we need to be praying for your big ol' family....and I'm lifting yall up right now!

I'm assuming you'll be doing this again since you've already gotten 38 comments!!! WOW!! Send me a few! :)
Two thumbs up on the one day at a time!! That's how my family rolls too!! Your children are beautiful and I love to hear about them!!

It was wonderful hope you do more.

Are you kidding me? The accent is the best part of all! :) Well, okay...maybe not...but I LOVE it! :) My sweetie's first daycare provider after coming home from China was a pastor's wife from Virginia. It was the cutest thing to hear this tiny Chinese toddler speak, with her Virginian drawl! :)

Hugs...Nancy in CT

Great job!

It has been a while since I've visited and it was great to get an update on all your sweeties. Praying Maggie's surgery will go smoothly and that Joseph's life will be changed for the better.

Are you one of the families that started 147 Million Orphans? I think we met your team when on our trip to Uganda. What a wonderful thing ya'll are doing! We just began our adoption process to adopt a little girl from Uganda whom we met on that trip. So glad I found your blog!
