You Would If You Had To ..
I often think about my sweet friend Jamie, who has two children waiting for her in Haiti over almost 3 years now. She goes to visit them often each year and her heart is amazing. I will never forget sitting across the table from her right before going to get Maggie when I said, "Jamie, I couldn't do what you do (go visit your children and then come home time after time)" and she said words I will never forget, "Gwen, you would do it if you HAD to." ... Jamie is a brave and loving mother and I am proud to call her friend. I think of all the friends who have adopted from Russia and had to take several trips there and back only to be able to visit their children and not know when they will be able to come home ... I sit here today a mother trying to work out a plan to best meet the needs of all my family (both here and in Uganda) and not sure what it looks like ...
I know I have asked for prayer many times, but I am here today to ask for a miracle for myself and my friend Lindsey (who is also adopting from Amani) ... We are both waiting on our travel dates and are in desperate need for the following to happen .... WE NEED TO GET OUR COURT DATE, ARRIVE A COUPLE OF DAYS EARLY, GO TO COURT, GET A VERBAL RULING WITHIN A WEEK AND A WRITTEN RULING WITH A DAY OR SO OF VERBAL RULING ... WE NEED THIS ALL TO HAPPEN IN 2 WEEKS .... We both have situations at home that would require us to come home in two weeks if our papers are not finalized .... This would break both of our hearts to leave our children in Uganda, but we also know that God will provide if we do have to leave and come home and then go back ....
Please pray with us for a miracle !!!! I hope we can hear news this week about travel ... Love You All !!

Praying for miracles!
We will be praying for this! I don't think it is in God's heart to leave your children behind....we will pray that God will rescue his little ones and bring them HOME wih you!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know first hand what you are writing about. After 7 visit trips to Guatemala I finally was able to bring our daughter home on the 8th trip (17 months of waiting) It was beyond anything I had ever imagined. But I can say for sure. God's timing is PERFECT. God Bless you and I'll pray for your miracle. Our Lord is so faithful

Who has lived that too many times and like Jamie said - God provides the grace to get through it.
gwen...you can trust that i will be praying for this miracle....on yours and lindsey's behalf!! i know you know that His plan is perfect. looking forward to continuing to watch His plan unfold for your beautiful family.
I know that God will give you both grace to get through this if you must, but I also know that we serve the God of the universe, and He can do anything! Praying with you that He will work on your behalf (in spite of how slowly things ususally work in that country) so that you can bring your kiddos home in one trip!
Blessings!

Lord, please bring these sweet children home. Please allow the courts to move in a unusually smooth way so that these dates will line up. Amen.
God can do all things! I will keep praying.
Lord willing, we'll be in your shoes soon.
Love in Jesus,
Amy
Big hug to you... I will be praying sweet friend.
One thing for you to hold on to....
Remember how Jesus moved in miraculous ways bringing Maggie home so quickly?!!!
Quite frankly I will be shocked if God doesn't make it work just right for you to bring your babies home!
God's speed
Love,
Daleea
Oh Gwen, I am praying for you all. I know that your mama heart wants all your babies under you roof. I pray you get all the things arranged to bring your children home.

Praying and trusting that a miracle is on the way!
It's so so hard to leave them. Praying not only for your heart, but for their hearts as well, that you will not have to leave them. Blessings, Terry
are you going to get joseph AND daisy, or just joseph? and if you're just going for joseph, how in the world are you going to see daisy and then leave her? i can see the dilemma and sympathize with the pain.
God will make a way when there seems to be no way is the phrase that just came to mind, and i will trust with you that it will be so.
YOU GOT IT GIRL! I'll be praying for ya'll for SURE!!!
Love,
~Abbie~

Oh Gwen! We are praying for you here!! Your friend is right...you do what you have to do. Visiting Tommy and having to leave him twice in Guatemala before going back a third time to foster him for 2 months was harder than hard, but I wouldn't trade those visits for the world, no matter how much it broke my heart each time I boarded the plane without him. Praying for YOUR miracle to come soon!!
praying for you
love you

Dear Kind, Faithful, Sister in the LORD!
I shall help you pray for your miracle. What is important to you is important to your Father. He loves you, and He loves your children in Uganda, and He loves the family under your roof.
And, if you have a minute, please stop by our blog. I could use some prayer,
Robbie
