Jesus Calling Today ... GOOD WORD FOR MONDAY !!
"To follow Me wholeheartedly, you must relinquish your desire to please other people. However, your closeness to Me will bless others by enabling you to shine brightly in the dark world."
This is something I need to tell myself on a daily basis ... Pleasing others, trying to fit the mold of the world and what they think a mother and wife should be, needing the approval from others, and just wanting to be liked can be such a struggle ... Here is my prayer for us all - Psalm 34:5 "They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed."
I want to be wrecklessly in love w/ Christ and what He has called me to ... I want to be obsessed with what is dear to His heart and not so much with anything else ... Lord, help me to be the woman you desire me to be !!!
I pray your week feel is fabulously blessed and that we all rest in the radiance of Christ's love for us and that we shine it out for others to see !!!

How I can not wait to meet you!!!! I was with my sister and unable to attend Friday night. I sent my precious in-laws and sister and brother in-law and they said it was amazing. Oh, how I wish I could have been there! Well, I was wondering---I would love to come in sometime and pray with you, Dana, and Suzanne. I have probably missed seeing Katie--but I would love to spend some time covering our trip and sweet children in prayer together. Josie has been on my heart this weekend more than any of the four. But what my dear sister, specifically can I be lifting up for you right now?

this is something I have been struggling with lately. Does my child have to have the latest fashions on every day? Does it matter what I drive? Does it matter what others think? I struggle with that, like I said, DAILY if not hourly! Thank you so much for the reminder! Love you sister! Linda
Awesome. Exactly what we all need. People get so wrapped up in what they should and shouldn't be that it spills over onto what they think others should or shouldn't be. Not a good place to be. Work on what pleases the Lord and give grace to those working towards that same goal. You both are going to screw it up, so just lean on Him and do your best. Help others along the way.
