Praise the Lord! Oh what wonderful news! I so wish that I could have been there last night, but the 10 hour drive was just not practical. I've been praying for this concert & will continue to pray that y'all get to travel to pick up your sweet Matty Joseph soon!

Dearest Gwen & family,

It seems like our paths were meant to cross last night.

My husband and I, along with Beth Frazier and her mother, came to the concert to hear Point of Grace perform. I heard "Point of Grace" perform for the first time last weekend at the first ever captioned Grand Ole Opry Show on June 20th and was interested in hearing more of their songs. We knew the concert was a benefit event to raise money for the Oatsvall family--but we had not heard of your story.

My friend & CART provider, Beth, were touched to learn that the child you are to embrace into your family, Joseph, has hearing problems. We hope that we may be of assistance to you as you seek to find ways to help this special boy reach his full potential.

Please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to share my personal experience with cochlear implants with you. And Beth would be happy to tell you more about the amazing service called "CART"--which stands for "communication access realtime translation." CART is a wonderful aid to those who are not able to easily understand the spoken word and do not know sign language.

Much love to you & yours,

OH. MY. GOSH. I SOOOO wish I could have been there! :(

I am SO HAPPY it went so well! Praise the Lord!

I absolutely LOVE the pictures! I love the ones of all of the children...all of the different ethnicities all together in love...it was so touching and so beautiful!

I loved, too, the picture of Katie holding the little girl. Her arms are never empty! You can just tell in the way she is holding the little girl and the look on Katie's face that she has a heart for children, and she can't stand to be away from them. I know she is missing her girls so much right now.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing the pictures!!!! Congratulations on a wonderful night!

It was absolutely worth the drive to witness this amazing event. Everything about the night was so well planned and a joy to sit an enjoy. I felt like there should've been a red carpet, though. All these adoption giants in one place--Oatsvalls, Katie, Putty's, Johnson's, Lucy Lane, Mayernick's, Mihnovich's.... Thank you for the chance to be a part.

Wow Wow Wow...what a blessing, a privilege, a wonderful opportunity to see God show up in a HUGE, God-sized way, Gwen! Let me tell you, my children have been TOUCHED...hearing Katie, hearing your story, seeing all the forever families...it has sparked something in each of them. I cannot explain it in words. I pray that the words, songs, and stories shared last night will be cemented in each of our hearts and that God will use them for His GLORY! I'm so thankful to have witnessed such an outpouring of love. The minute we walked in the sanctuary, I got chills from head to toe. God's presence was so thick and full in that place!
I could go on and on...my heart is so full STILL!
My favorite part of the whole night was getting to meet YOU and your sweet family and so many adoptive mommas...Gwen, it was a slice of Heaven for me. A big, hunka hunka slice of Heaven!
LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
