This Little Light of Mine
I just don't have words to describe the blessing our family experienced tonight as we watched the African Children's Choir Concert (all these precious orphan children are from Uganda, so you know this mama's heart was exploding) ... The gift of music and dance these children have was obviously a gift from the Lord and being used to glorify HIM... They radiated hope, love, and joy up on the stage ... I was completely moved in my spirit and heart to watch them ... Scott and I captured a glimpse of how we want heaven to be like as our children danced and sang along with the choir ... I truly believe we are raising a generation that GET IT ... No keeping it in the box here in the OATVALL TEAM... I pray my children live on the edge w/ the Lord leading the way ... Of course, we never go anywhere w/ out a POSSE (Mayernick's, Gage's, Ondrea and her peeps, and my Anna) ... We were all sporting our blue "147 million orphan" shirts and actually sold a few ... ONLY GOD !!! Enjoy the pictures and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS KEEP "THE LEAST OF THESE" IN YOUR HEART AND ASK GOD WHERE HE IS CALLING YOU TO ACT ON THEIR BEHALF!
Love Ya ...

Cool! Those are my friends in Choir #32! I traveled with Choir #30 and they are now back in Uganda and Kenya! Isn't it amazing how God can use CHILDREN to speak to our hearts!?!?!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
freaking out
I totally forgot to go:(
Amen...love you! ;)
i know you were all so blessed! wish we could have been there! love that pic in the middle--- precious angels at the throne!!! :)
I think we saw this precious choir at the fundraiser for Shoahannah's Hope a few years ago & it was, by far, the most incredible thing ever! We've ministered alongside some of the best artists in our country but nothing compared to the way those precious orphans worshipped God & ushered us to His Throne! Amazing! Still praying all your babies home! ; ) sure appreciate the Oatsvall team!
The African Childrens Choir was our huge catalyst to adopt from Africa. In 1998 We had 2 boys from the choir stay in our home overnight, and they rocked our universe. Hearing THEM pray for US did us in. 10 years later, we have our very own African treasure.
Was that Watoto? We LOVE those guys!! You can't watch them and not be moved or stirred to act...
Love them, love them, love them...
So cool! We have a CD but would love to see them in person. :) Love that your shirts keep getting out there to spread the message.
I was sick when they were in Jacksonville and had to miss them-BROKE my heart!
Glad your family enjoyed them!!

Extreme Makeover: Jesus Edition
Because I am leaving a comment on your page, that means I am a “follower” of your story I am not a random person just posting for posting sake.
I don’t know if this breaks blog etiquette or something. But I am risking it anyway.
I have posted a blog called “Extreme Makeover: Jesus Edition” about a family that needs our help.
Go, read, if you feel led.
Side note: for you adoption/foster advocates, there is another post that is “messing” with me if you care to check it out and comment. It is the previous post and it is called “Living Freely: Foster Care and THE CHURCH”
Hear my heart fellow bloggers, I am seeking nothing selfishly. Just trying to do the will of the ONE who sent me. Praise the Lord!
Gwen, I LOVE this post!!! I posted a sweet video of Zoie & daddy singing This Little Light of Mine. That's our fav song right now:)))
