Signing Off From Vandy
We are going home today ... They came in and took the drainage tube out of her head and now I am packing up ... Can you hear my totall excitement ... I can already feel a hot shower at home, my bed, hugging on my kids/hubby, and some really good food !!!
Of course w/ the way hospital times goes we probably won't be home till 3 or 4 ... We have had great care here and everyone is interested in Maggie's story, so perhaps God has allowed me to plant many seeds ...
Thanks all for your prayers, scriptures, and loving encouragement ... We are in the midst of this journey and I can honestly say I can't see what is ahead, but that is probably good .. I often think if I could see ahead it would hinder my faith ... I will walk today blindly w/the Lord and know He has tomorrow already taken care of because HE KNOWS ALL ...
Love You !!!

Gwen, Your message last Friday was so powerful and passionate. Thank you so much for coming and sharing with us at FRA! I cannot get Uganda off my mind. I am constantly praying and thinking about the kids there(and of course Maggie). I have been reading your blog and Katie's everyday and have passed it along to so many others. I am praying about how I can help...Scott is truly a blessing here at FRA... My heart is open and full to what God will lead me to do with you and Katie....IN HIS LOVE, Rhonda Wicks (6th grade teacher FRA)
Praise the Lord. May you both rest better and may Maggie settle back in nicely as you reach home sweet home. Our prayers for her recovery will continue dear friend! We trust the worst is behind our precious Maggie at this point and may all go as planned next time around with no difficulties to hinder her full recovery. We are praying for this already!
WOO HOO!! Praise God!
The Hoffman's are still praying for little Maggie. Meron knows her by name!

Gwen,
I think we've "met" on Katie's blog once before. I just wanted you to know that our family has been praying for Maggie this week!! Our daughter adopted from China has several surgeries still ahead, and I know how "un-fun" that hospital time is!! Thanks for sharing God's grace and strength as you walk this path! You have a beautiful family!
So good to know that you are going home!
Going home!!!
Still praying for Maggie...
Hi Gwen! I found out about your family and sweet Maggie yesterday via Amazima. I have been praying for all of you. My youngest child was born in Hunan, China and came home to us in 06/06. We are blessed beyond words. Amazima and Katie have turned my world upside down. I wanted to thank you for being a volunteer and for all that you do. I am praying about what it is that God will have me to do to join you in service of Him and His children. I'm so happy you're heading home. Have a blessed evening! Love from KY!
Woo Hoo for HOME!!!!!!!
Praise the Lord!
Amen to walking by faith and not by sight!
Continuing to pray...

Oh, Gwen,
Thank You Jesus!
Please know I have not deserted you or precious Maggie. You have been in my heart and my prayers!!!!! I am out of town visiting my family and am just now getting access to a computer for a few minutes. My heart has been so heavy for your little one and how thankful I am to find she is home and the Lord is once again answering our prayers.
Please know that even if you don't hear from me I am praying.
I will lift the little one in the room up next door too!
Love you sister!
God's healing, God's peace and to God be the glory.
