Never Done ...

There are moments when you are at church, in your car, with friends, or family and something is said, a verse from a song, a phrase by your pastor, or words from a friend/family member and you just know God just spoke to your heart ... Today we were in church singing and I had one of those moments that seem to come very often these days where God revives me, brings me to tears, and engulfs my heart w/ His purpose for my family's life ... The song talked about dying so that I might live ... My mind was bombarded w/ dying to self so that I may hear Him more clearly, so that I may be broken for what breaks His heart, so that I will rejoice daily in all the miracles that surround me (seriously to many to think of when you know that each BREATH is a gift/miracle/from the Lord) ... On this Easter day I praise the Father for being so ever present in my life !!! Elijah is asking questions about salvation, about what it means to be sinner, about the gift of ever lasting life w/ Christ ... I want nothing more on this earth than for my children to accept Christ and go teach others about His unwavering love !!!

He is Risen !! He is not in the tomb !! Death could not keep Him !! THANK YOU FATHER FOR YOUR GIFT OF LIFE ABUNDANTLY ...

Well i had one of those today to. I was just fine andi went to my room and started cring because i was thinking that God died for me. And he loves more then i deserve. But cant i do more in life.
So today i had on of those too. And i no that God sends us those times to let us no that we need to look in the bright side of life!!
Those moments are hard but everytime i have one i no that it is for a reason.

Beautiful post. He IS Risen indeed!! I'm so humbled at what He did for me. Your post speaks to my heart so deeply. I couldn't have written it better. I can't put into words what the Lord is doing here in the Shubin house. Its uncomfortable and frankly I don't like it. Yet I know my Fathers plans are for better then mine. Praying for you friend.

I will be praying for Elijah. Peter was asking a lot of questions about salvation and heaven and taking lots of notes at church in the weeks before he accepted Jesus too.
You have an amazing heart that is so soft to the Lord's whisper.

Beautifully and perfectly said, and exactly what is on my heart also.

I am sorry for being absent for so long, my computer has been having issues. But I will get caught up.

Love and blessings girlie, Kristy
Love you

You know ... the days will fly by as your children grow up to love and serve the Lord. It seems like just yesterday that my big kids were asking those questions. Now ... I have 3 big kids serving the Lord overseas (Argentina, Germany, Jordan). Couldn't get any better than that!

I lost it too, girl to the words of In Christ Alone...
"Then bursting forth in glorious Day - Up from the grave He rose again - And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost it's grip on me - For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ"

HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Blessings,
Teresa

Oh, my, how engulfed I've been with God's goodness, reading through the gospels, practicing for our passion play.

When we began to sing, "Only Believe," I became overwhelmed with remembering how He had used those words to encourage us toward our mission trip.

He is such an awesome Savior!
