And Joy Comes In The Morning

Scott is always looking to the Lord and when things don't look so great I can always count on him to say, "Late in the midnight hour, God is going to turn it around." ... Scripture also tells us that JOY COMES IN THE MORNING ... Maggie's fever broke, she is off the IV line and she had a great night of sleep ... Your verses are filling my spirit ... Trust in the Lord, the Lord will bring you peace, He has equipped you for this journey, Be in communion w/ me the Father, don't worry about your daily struggles He is more than able to carry you through, and I could go on and on ... The thought that keeps resonating in my spirit is how I feel for those people who deal with difficulties and they don't know the Lord ... They don't feel His constant LOVE, His ever present peace, and His amazing shoulder to lean on ...

No April FOOLS here ... GOD IS A GOD WHO KEEPS HIS PROMISES !!! Thanks for loving on my family for your constant stream of prayers !!! I do pray we can be home by Friday because the other Oatsvall Team members miss their mama !!!

Big Blessing ...My friend Kristi got her referral yesterday from Ethiopia and this is one beautiful child !!! I love referral day ... She came to the hospital last night so I could see a picture and bring me a diet coke !!! Kelly (her sister came w/ chocolate) and another friend Kara brought dinner ... We just had us a good ole girl's night out here celebebrating in the hospital ... I do love how the Lord knits us all together ... Still eating the massive 5lb cup cakes sweet Dani brought yesterday and Maggie's bed is full of stuff animals thanks to Aunt Donna, Coach John, and Kelly ... Not to mention that I sleep on the Legos Ondrea bought her plus I am covered w/ the stickers Wendy had in her goodie bag ... Not to mention that two high school girl friends came by and hung out yesterday ... And I could never had made it with out Erica (my cousin) and Retta (my aunt) each spending a night here ... Other sweet friends taking dinner to my family at home !!! Are you seeing a theme here !!!! WE alll need each other and my cup runeth over w/ blessings from the Lord because of all of you ...

Praise GOD that today is a new day and that Maggie's fever is gone. I'm so glad you have a tremendous support network available to help you out, Gwen. Please know that Maggie continues to be in my prayers.

Wish I was closer. I would be right there with you, girlfriend! But because I can't I will continue to hold you all in my thoughts & prayers.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for little Miss Maggie. I'm sure those siblings of hers are also missing her sweet smile as well as their mama's!

Lots of hugs!

Just found my way here for the first time today from Katie's blog, although I purchased an orphan Tshirt from you last week. I have been on my knees praying for sweet Maggie, and for you, and for the doctors. May God be glorified in everything that happens! I too have wondered how those who don't really know God make it through moments like these. Isn't it wonderful to be cradled in the arms of Jesus in the midst of this? Isn't it comforting to know that, even though it doesn't make sense to us in the moment, we know that God has a great plan that He is working out? Isn't it awesome to know that you will have another God-story to share about how He showed His love and His power and His wisdom on your behalf?

"The eternal God is a resting place, and underneath are the everlasting arms." Deuteronomy 34:27

What incredible family and friends you have...you are truly blessed as they are blessed to have you as part of their family. We are praising God for what He is doing and continues to do throughout the days and weeks to come.

Thanks for commenting on my blog...even though the ankle still hurts, it has been a blessing..as it's forced me to sit more and just rest in my Lord and pray and listen to Him speak to me.

Blessings,
Connie
