HOW CRAZY DO YOU FEEL ???

My mind is beyond doing flips and dizzy cartwheels right now ... I haven't slept the last two night for thinking about Maggie and Joseph ...

My daughter doesn't deserve to have this surgery re-done and I am honestly sick to my stomach for her, so I had a talk with God last night for a while and begged for a miracle ... Now I know my God can do this in the blink of an eye, but if He chooses not to, then He no less the healer, the friend, the Father, or no less My Savior ... I will just know we has a different path FOR US to take ... I snuggled with both my girls last night in bed for a while looking at their dark hair and almond shaped eyes and thought what a blessed woman I am to have these two amazing girls as my daughters ... I had 3 extra boys spending the night last night and I heard them all running around playing and I thought Lord thank you for this home and my son's and their friend's who can come and play ... My house is always ALIVE ... I love opening my home, God's home ...

This leads me to Joseph ... We have requested the medical files on this precious angel ... I know what I can handle with the Lord's strength and I want God to speak clearly on if this is my son or not ... Here is the thoughts that will cross a lot of minds ... I know because one of my sweet sisters has already expressed this to me and this is one reason why I love her ... She shoots straight ... ??? Should we even consider this child with Maggie needing to have her surgery re-done ???? Honestly, at this point I don't have the answer ... I know she needs me and I also know God doesn't call us to a perfect schedule or an easy path .... So over the next couple of weeks we will pray here and will pray for clarity, for peace, for guidance ...

Did I mention we are over 1/2 way to our adoption goal !!!!!!!!! Thanks to all who came or donated at the gold party ($2300 ... what a blessing) ... Thanks to Kristi and Holly for making food (they are some fabulous Martha Stewarts), Mary Pat (this is Katie's mom and she is a jewel in my life) for coming early to help set up and for all my other sisters (Suzanne, Kelly, Yolanda, Retta, Stacy, Ondrea, Arlena, Katie Jo) for coming and ALWAYS ALWAYS SUPPORTING ME ...

ONE OTHER BIG BLESSING OF THAT NIGHT ... I am standing in my living room and out of the corner of my eye I spy Linda (my 2nd interim care Angle's mom) and I rush over because you know I am dying to see if she has Elly !!! She does and my heart just leaped ... Thank you Lord for this moment ... I held Elly and looked into those beautiful eyes !!! She is the just beautiful, happy, and so big now !!!! My girls were climbing on me like a jungle gym trying to get to her ... What a blessed moment and I felt so honored they drove 50 minutes to come support my gold party and bring Elly so I could hold her and give her some LOVE !!! This is one special family to us !!!

Oh, Gwen.....................
Every thing that you said about our God is true!!!! Please know that I am praying for a miracle..... If Your sweet Maggie does have to go through surgery again.... my heart will break but I will cling to the fact that there must be a reason that God has chosen this path. His ways are not our ways...
Will be praying for HIs will for your Maggie and Joseph and Abagail.
I am off to email you.

Dear Gwen,

I know that we have never met and I only "know" you through your blog, but I want to tell you that I can empathize with your thoughts about Maggie's surgery. We are in a very similar situation, where our daughter may have to have another open heart surgery...and we just got home from the hospital in mid-march from her first one. It is beyond my understanding why this should have to happen to my daughter, or to Maggie. Our understanding is so limited though, and we can't see God's whole plan. But I'm praying for a miracle in our situation, and I'm adding Maggie to my prayers as well.

I'll trust Him regardless, as I know you will.

Praising God for His love. He will heal, Maggie, and only He knows the best way to do that. How blessed we are to call out to our Father.

Praying for you, tomorrow, too, Gwen. Love to the team.

Maggie is such a survivor but she doesn't deserve another surgery. I'm continuing to pray for a miracle. How wonderful that you continue to work hard towards your Joseph and Abigail fund. I can't wait to follow this next journey. Please know that your family are always included in my daily prayers.

GWEN,

Been so out of touch....Gone on Spring Break, then took me a week to climb my way out of my laundry room...left my phone in Mexico...etc....so I'm so out of the loop at the moment....Just stopped by to catch up on the Os and whoa! I'm terribly sorry about Maggie's surgery redo....God's ways are higher than ours' and we can rest in that. I know you know. Will be praying...ALSO, thank you so very much for the sweet surprise of the shirts! You shouldn't have done that, but we're lovin; them....Will catch up with you soon. PLEASE call on me if I can help you out with anything....you know it'd be my pleasure!

Love y'all!

I'll be praying for Maggie tomorrow, that, if she has it, she'll sail through this surgery like she did her last

My friend...I so loved bringing Elly to come to see you and I would do it a million times over to see you so happy! You are a blessing to so many people and Elly will always be one of your babies! You said Friday night that you were glad you had a small part in Elly's life, but I want you to know it was a HUGE part. You prayed for her, cared for her, and wispered prayers in her ear when I could not. For that I am ETERNALLY thankful! What a joy it is to share my little girl with you! You guys are like an extended family to us! We love you! Praying for Sweet Sweet Maggie! Our Father is still in the miracle business!!! Love you!

Oh Gwen..I am so happy that you are so much closer to your goal :) And Maggie's care is right there is front of you...She is the ever fighter as you...You, above all...will know what is right for your family...and God knows that!! Continue to trust in him and know him ,as you do your own family :) I state this as I try to continue to do the same, in my own family...but we always know...God is there, no matter our decisions
