It Is Falling From The Sky ... Blessings For Amazima Ministries
Me, Katie, and Suzanne ...
When women for the Lord get together you better watch out ... Our hubby's were there, but we didn't let them in the picture !!!!!
I have blogged several times about my newest sister "Katie" ... She is the most amazing 20 year old I have ever meet ... To read about her journey in Uganda and see the faces of the children she loves please stop by her blog KISSESFROMKATIE.BLOGSPOT.COM
My friend Suzanne and I believe so much in her ministry that we have organized a couple of dessert/coffee nights for Katie to come and share her heart and story for the children in Uganda ... She is only 20, but the Lord is using her in the most mighty of ways ... She has started Amazima Ministries, which helps children receive schooling, medical attention, and 2 hot meals a day for only $300 a year (She currently has 150 kids in her program) ... She will be going back to Uganda in January and we are trying to raise at least $15,000 before she goes .. TONIGHT WE RAISED $6400 (update as of 9:00 am $6700 UPDATE AS OF THURSDAY NIGHT $7000) !!!! Can I get a witness to the power of the Lord ... The Oatsvall Team will be walking this journey w/ Katie as long as God has her journey ... She has sung to my soul and I want to see, hear, and touch her life in a real way ... I see Jesus in her!
Please consider sponsoring a child or making any kind of donation to this amazing ministry!!

There is no other woman more beautiful than a woman in love with her Lord and Savior!! Gwen could you be any prettier??? I don't think so. Thank you so much for your encouraging words on my blog. Gwen you have no idea how much I respect and love you. You are a true woman of God and I learn something from you everytime I come here. You are amazing. You inspire me.
My husband and I teach Youth on Wednesday nights at our church along with some of our really good friends and we have been for the past year raising money to build a church in Uganda. It takes $2000 to build the church and on wednesdays nights the kids give whatever they can and in the past year they have given close to $1200!!!! It is all the kids doing and that just makes my heart do leaps!!!!
Anyway I will visit Katie's blog, thank you for sharing and you have a great weekend.
Love and blessings, Kristy

What a wonderful person you are... I'm out of town for the weekend (up with my aunt and cousin in the high desert); needed a break from everything...very relaxing, and it makes me not think about things so much - at least for a couple of days
What incredible women you all are! Keep up the good work...I mean God's work:)
