God Always Answers a Prayer ...

It could be YES, NO, or WAIT ... I have been praying for about 48 hours now for Gracie Lou, her birth mother, and a possible adoptive family ... @ 4:52 today God answered the prayer and Gracie Lou left our home ... The Social Worker called at 2:00 today to say the birth mother had decided to parent this precious angel ... My heart leaped in my throat and right then I knew that I changed again forever in a real way ... I am in love w/ this precious girl that I only met 48 hours ago ... This is a precious gift from God that He gives mothers the amazing capacity to love in a way that can't be describe in words except for maybe instantaneously, to the depth of our soul, for all eternity ...

I will definitely count the 2 days spent w/ Gracie Lou in my top 25 days of my life ... She is a miracle from the Lord and I am thankful that I got to love on her and pray over her sweet body for those two days ... I spent the last 30 minutes holding her precious frame and just praying whatever my mouth and heart would say ... THANK YOU FOR PRAYING W/ ME FOR THIS ANGEL ...

I have a lot of reflecting to do on this experience ...

It is a day that holds other amazing blessings ... THE WHEELER FAMILY IS HOME (Hope to post pictures later from the airport) ... This family has been through so much to bring home their daughter !!! Lindsey has been living in Guatemala since July fostering their child till it was legal and they are finally home... Plus the Bynum family got a call today that they have a baby that will be born in a few days and this child will be a full sibling to their other precious adoptive daughter ... GOD YOU ARE EVERYWHERE ... I pray we feel you watching over all our children till they are home !!!!

23 kind words.:

Oh my sweet friend. You love so well and I love you for that. Praying for the birthmom and that sweet baby girl.

Can't wait to see you. Crazy- I was there one year ago. You left the next day to get Mags and the Wheeler's had just met Eliana. I didn't have an inkling about Abe--- God is so good.

Thank you for praying for the Father's will to be done.... what an advocate you are for this precious baby girl and her life. I will be praying for her, her birth Mother and the adoptive family as well. I don't know if they knew about her yet but surely their hearts are breaking if they did.... may they have God's peace and know that He has a plan for them and for their child... I pray Gracie's Lou's Mommy feels the Spirit of God with her enabling her to take care of her baby.
God's will be done....

Amen!!!

Ahh, G, I rejoice in God hand picking the Oatsvall family for these Holy two days. He heard many prayers for a little girl the majority of those who spoke her name to Him will never know this side of Heaven.

Thank you for loving the littlest of these....His precious baby!!!

I've been praying for you since yesterday's airport adventure. I really know how you are feeling today. Go ahead and wrestle for a bit with this. This angel will be blessed to have someone who loves her forever through their prayers. Love, Suzanne

How cool that God knew exactly where to place this sweet baby to lay a strong foundation of prayer over her at the beginning of her life......I know every word you spoke over her will grow to produce fruit in her life and her mother's....what a privilege!!! So great to share close birthdays and get together yesterday! ...and so thankful for your powerful witness for the fatherless!....Love you!

What an incredible few days. Only God could orchestrate such a story. How awesome to know that He chose the Oatsvall family to love and pray over Gracie Lou in her first few days of life.
And to think that He has now given you the experince as a mother of birth children, as a mother of adopted children, and now an up close and personal glimpse into the struggles of a birth mother considering the surrender of her child. No dobut this experince will shape your book!
We can only imagine the blessings that will follow Gracie Lou and her birthmother as a result of your servant heart and faithful prayers!
What an example you set for all of us!
Love & Blessings!
Kim
