GNO, HIV, and PRAYER

GNO/ Girls Night Out W/ A Twist
I have been meaning to post this for a while ... A friend who is adopting asked a few friends of mine if we would host a Girls Night Out as a fundraiser for her adoption ... I was curious and said what do you mean ?? She explained that during the month of April she had 10 different friend that run in 10 different circles to host a GNO w/ each person attending donating $10, while the host (me and two others provided snacks and drinks) ... Can I just say FABULOUS IDEA ... We had a blast sitting around my table gabbing and raised $180.00 .. The goal is to raise a $1000 just by women getting together and doing what we love to do best eat, talk, and laugh ..

HIV

You have to visit this site and go to April 22nd post. Erin is an amazing mother of 11 and she is so educated on children w/ HIV (since she has two precious children w/the condition) ... Please educate yourself and learn about this woman's heart and pray for all the children affected w/this who are waiting for families ...

PRAYER

I could go on and on with this list, but here are my highlights ... Family waiting to hear if they were chosen for domestic adoption, family came home w/ child that tested positive w/ HIV (unknown to them), Ivey family on their way to Haiti to serve and visit their precious children they are adopting, sweet couple whose child is sick in Ethiopia (for them to travel soon), My friend Em waiting on her paperwork to bring home 6 yr old and infant from Ethiopia, the many friends waiting for any news about their little ones, a friend who is just starting the process for the second time, my friend Tina's prison ministry (she is truly the hands and feet of Jesus), all those raising money for their adoptions, and my kids (Jeremiah, Elijah, Emily, and Maggie, especially surgery) and as always for my STRENGTH Joseph and my PEACE Abagail (you will be home one day) ...

LOVE YOU ALL (I know I say love you a lot, but why not when you feel it )

That is an awesome fundraiser idea! I will have to try that one myself. I will be praying with you on the prayer needs you listed. I just love reading your posts, so inspiring and uplifting. You are awesome! By the way your niece is cute as can be. So happy to see they made it home safe and sound and I will be praying for continued bonding and wonderful health.

Gwen,

I will pray for you. Is there a need for your children? Please let me know, I haven't heard anything.
Thank you for being a constant friend and source of support. I am working on my story for you and will have it very soon.

Much Love to you all,
Kimberley

Gwen,
Love the pics of GNO! Love what you did with it, everyone is doing their own spin. I am going to do one this month and show Bella.
Since everyone is commenting on this fundraiser, let me say that it is good in theory. I have plenty of friend to help, it has just been hard to find 10 friends who have the time to host a GNO. So far there have been 2, #3 will be this weekend, then one later in the month will be #4. Not sure about the rest. I really think this would be a sweet way to raise money for someone without them even being involved.

I'll pray for all who listed, Gwen. Saying "I love you" is probably one of the best blessings you can say to someone...I just told Crystal on her blog that I love her..I'm not ashamed that I said that; it's true.

Love ya too, girl

I've been really sick lately (with a fever for a few days), but I'm finally feeling better with some major antibiotics (Zithromax) and Prednisone; so can you say prayers for me that I keep getting better? I go back to the doctor next week for a follow up

You are a precious women of God and I'm so blessed to read your blog! I am praying...

My precious son, who waits for us in Haiti, also needs prayer. He's been sick severval times with pnuemonia the past year and in the hospital. This last time he needed a blood tranfusion due to anemia. He's only 18 months. So small and weak and we are just praying he makes it home alive. Our dossier is stuck and hasn't moved in 17 months...we are weary...

I praise God for your heart...Blessings,Terry
