FACES

A normal week always includes a daily trip to the YMCA, which gives me the boost of energy I need and the kids some playtime with others. Well, this week most kids went back to school, so the YMCA closed the youth room (the one Jeremiah goes to), so I had to work out at home and we really never left the house except for the fake 1st. day of school. It was fun to stay home in pj's all day, color, read, watch movies, and play around. One blessing of each day is watching the kids play together and be creative (they are playing Handy Manny in the picture), but then there are always the emotional break downs and high drama ... I love it all !!! I love being a mom, I love being a wife, I love being a stay home mother and being there for my family. They can get on my last nerve and drive me up the wall, but at the end of the day I feel like the most blessed person on this earth.

Gotta love Handy Manny!! I only have one child at home, but this is the greatest "job" I've ever had!! There are days when I wish spicy girl would just, well, stop talking, but then I just remind myself of how long I waited to hear a nonstop 4 year old jibber jabber!!

Gwen, this is so awesome! I'll definitely be back to see how the kids are growing and finally see Maggie. Keep it touch and let me know how it's going.

Paul agrees that being a stay home parent is great...I will have to take ya'lls word for it. I have enjoyed my year off and will enjoy the next one with the kids. Then it's off to PCola to finish up while Paul is taking care of things on the homefront.

I agree with you that being a stay at home mom is the greatest job on earth. We are very blessed. IT is also the hardest job on earth.
Like mommy spice, some days I wish Mallory would just stop talking so much. However, I am reminded of that silence that I experienced way before we got her and I will take the chatterbox over the silence any day.
Love the pics of your kids playing Handy Manny. Too cute.

Gwen,
I love your thoughts about being a stay-at-home mom because they are just like my own.

It is the absolute hardest job in the world and the hardest job I've ever had, but it is the BEST job!! I too am so very blessed to be able to stay home with my kiddos. I don't think we will ever regret having this time with them.

ok Girl friend, I just read all your lates blogs from Maggies bday up. I know you are on an emotional roller coaster right now, please know that so many of us are lifting you up. Your an amazing mom and all 4 of you kids are so blessed. She will be here soon and all the bad memories will be gone and all the new wonderful memories will be priceless. I can't wait to see her and to know that your heart can rest knowing she is at home.
I was home for 7 years and even though sometimes I worried how we were going to pay the bills, I would not take all the money in the world for those years with my girls. It was not easy but so worth it. When I think about adopting that is what holds me back because right now I know I am working where God wants me but if I adopt I would want to stay home again. God's timing is perfect so we will see. Love ya!

Gwen,
There is a child who is near death and needs prayer tonight. He has drowned, but his body is still barely alive. His name is Jude. Can you please pray?
Thanks,
Kimberley
