BLESSED WEEK

We celebrated Cade's 1st B-day on Saturday. What a brave little kid he is. Two surgeries and two more to go. I also went on a field trip with Jeremiah's class to the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's Home). Now that is crazy fun ... 18 2nd graders in a historical home where they can't touch anything !!!! And tonight we are going to some friend's home tonight to experience our first ever Pass Over Super ... The kids are so excited. We anticipate Good Friday and the realization that our Mighty Lord and Savior went to the cross for us. Reminds me of how it is our "Gotcha Day" as God's adoptive Children!!! Picture from the field trip, Cade's B-day, and Emily/Mommy in China finalizing paperwork ....

What a great post - I am filled with praise, awe, and praying for little Cade all at the same time. I am so glad we have a BIG God!!!

What happened to Cade that he needs so many surgeries? Poor little guy. I'll pray for him also. Don't know if you got my previous note, but I decided to go ahead with the procedure. Haven't heard when it is though. Just please pray that they'll be able to dissolve it and I can be out of pain and get back to my life.

Hey you were in my neck of the woods. We probably live about 1 to 2 miles from the Jackson's home. I'm sure you had fun with all the 2nd graders.
