Is It Thursday Yet ??

The day started with an intense list of things to do- post office, grocery store, bank, Elijah doctor, work-out etc ...but I get to my lovely 10 passenger van and it is dead... seems one of my children has managed to leave the cup warmers on all night. Of course, they all blame each other. I have to call Scott at school and beseech him to come home because my day is very important and must be completed (so my OCD personality can check things off my list). Well, I am off the a late start, but I do get started and accomplish it all. I have been concerned about Elijah's retention level (we can't seem to remember any of our numbers or letters)and the doctors are no help, so after talking with serveral moms I take him to a Christian nutritionist and she connects him to these probs which detect that he is quite low in zinc (which is connected to his nervous system) and she also finds a bacteria in his digestive tract. She is fabulous and sends me home with rememdies hopefully to help. I have been really worried about him. I fixed dinner, kissed and prayed with everyone and now I am taping 24 so that I can relax tonight with a good show and some chocolate !!!

Like Becky said, hope the doctor figured out what was wrong and he is on the road to better retention!

WOW!! I just want you to know that I have had to have Keith come home from work to let me into the house and woke him up one time when I ran out of gas on the way home from work, and Oh yeah, there was that time the car died at my old job and then the time the battery died when Joe was going to take driver's written exam. Been there, done that. That's 26 yrs worth. How long you been married???? Glad all worked out well.

verna, we just celebrated 16 years and believe i have done some whoppers ...i have made him come home twice to empty mouse traps, once when i locked my keys in the car while it was running (it was raining and i was trying to hurry), once at the ymca and at least 5 or 6 dead batteries. but hey i do all the laundry, so he can't complain ...
