"MAMA COME"

I don't have any pictures since I am on Scott's computer and somehow my camera got wet today at the pool ... SHOCKER I KNOW !!! ... I will steal Suzanne's soon ... The MAYVALL'S (Oatsvall and Mayernick Families) are doing so well ... They kids are playing, swimming, watching basketball, using the potty every 5 minutes, eating everything in site, and looking forward to our DISNEY TRIP tomorrow ... Yep we will be 22 people strong STORMING Disney together (and reping the 147 gear)... Suzanne and I are blessed enough to have some great friends and family joining us on this trip to help out w/ the kids and allow us to enjoy FL as a big family ... THANK YOU BOOBOO/RETTA/ANNA/ABBY/MALLORY ...

So now to the REAL stuff ... Daisy is always telling me "MAMA COME" ... no matter if she wants me to sit beside her, get in the pool w/ her, sleep w/ her, eat w/ her, or take her to the potty ... She simply wants me w/ her and it has me thinking about the 147 MILLION ORPHANS of the world that are whispering in their hearts, yelling in the sleep, or dreaming daily of  "MAMA COME" ...  This is not going to be a new challenge from me because I am a broken record when it comes to the orphan crisis, but if God has put it on your heart in any capacity to consider adoption then please take the next step ... There is NO GUESS work about it because their are children WAITING for "MAMA COME" ...

Each time Daisy says it, I can literally hear the Lord calling me ... It is HIS voice I hear coming out of that angelic little voice ... It is His eyes that light up when we cuddle up together or jump in the pool...

I just can't say enough how the adoption journey starts with one BIG HUGE FAITH STEP ... From a new tired, exhausted, joyful, happy, stressed, crazy, peaceful mother of 6, I can say each minute is worth it ...  A CHILD IS WORTH IT ...

Mixed Up Collage ... But Solid Emotions !!!

I would love to be able to fix these pictures and put them in order, but I am too tired ... hee hee ...

We are home and doing well (except for sleep) ... Picture up top is of Jeremiah getting his hair cut by Isaac in Uganda ... Sweet Isaac has been cutting hair for the children in the orphanage and has cut Joseph's hair many times ... It was a blessing to meet him and hear his heart for orphans ... He told me that "I had done a good thing, but bringing Joseph/Daisy hope so that they won't feel LOW."  He spoke to straight to my heart ...

Next couple of pictures are from our homecoming ... I am always excited to see my airport family !!! So many prayer warriors to greet us and welcome us home ... We as a family could not do the work God has called us to w/ out all of the people in our lives ...

Picture below is of Marvin, our sponsored child in the Amazima program and his father ... Jeremiah and I had a great visit w/ him and he talked of his favorite studies and his desire to attend university one day ... We are honored as a family to partner w/ Amazima and show our brothers and sisters in Uganda our love for them ...
The last two pictures are just pictures of LOVE ... Daisy and Me hanging !! Jeremiah and I serving !!! There is lots more to come on the trip ... Jeremiah was amazing and watching him interact w/ the people of Uganda and just love and serve was something I will cherish forever ...

I have a few big things to share in the coming weeks, but we are off to vacation on Sunday so it will have to wait ... I would encourage you to google David Platt's sermon on FEILDS OF THE FATHERLESS ... I listened to it on my way to Uganda and it has planted in me a deeper desire to follow Christ's command for the orphans of the world.   Plus it gave me a huge confirmation from the Lord in regards to a current situation ...

Each day is all about the CROSS !!! What Christ did for us should motivate us, confirm in us, and drive us to serve HIM ... Thanks for all your prayers !!! I am rich in the blessings of your friendship !!!

IT'S A WHOLE NEW WORLD

So much of what my sweet children are experiencing along w/ my friends (Anna and Beth) is a whole new world ... Daisy/Joseph getting FANITA drinks daily (a complete highlight for them), riding in cars and botas (motorcycles) is a super fun adventure for them, and just going to so many new places ... Jeremiah has hung out w/ kids that he can't communicate in words with, but they can share a smile or a fun game ... Sitting beside him as we fed the children in the Amazima program was a special moment that I will never forget ... Beth and Anna have the most amazing spirits of servant hood and watching them look into the eyes of so many in need and just respond to them w/ love and compassion is such confirmation that them coming on this trip with me was truly a God Thing !!!!

We have hit a delirious point here ... We just spent the last hour laughing our heads off at nothing ... Thinking all day today was Father's Day (my FB status had quite the response to my mistake ... lol)  Time really does stand still here  ....

I feel like a could list a lot of scripture to describe the things I feel in my heart right now, but the bottom line is I am a mess and just thankful that the Lord can still use me, work through me, and teach me more about Him !!!  Please continue to pray !!!

Just Some Fun Faces From Day 3 In Uganda !!

There is so much I would like to write, but to tired to put the words together ... I am exhausted and deliriously happy all at the same time ... Africa is a beautiful place to be, but it is a hard place to live ... I have so much respect for the people here and all they do to make ends meet ... The joy in their life comes from the LORD and when they speak of Him it is like a breath of fresh air to my spirit !!!!

Have a blessed day ... SO MUCH MORE TO COME ...

Through JEREMIAH'S eyes !!!

The excitement is bubbling over here about our trip tomorrow ... I can't wait to board a plane w/ Jeremiah and watch through his eyes all that he sees ... Jeremiah has a very tender heart and I am praying God shows him many things ... I want him to understand that the children he meets, plays with, and sees are his brothers and sisters ... I want him to open his heart further to what God's will is for his life not man or ours ... I want him to see a God that can do the impossible ... I want him to learn about deep faith like I did when I was in Uganda ... I want him to understand that life is only worth living if you live it for CHRIST ... I want him to come home and share with his friends, his brother and sisters and his dad how AFRICA CHANGED HIM ... I want when he steps into a classroom, on the court, on stage, in church, or on the football field how he can IMPACT people for Christ ...

I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that this mama's heart is full ... I can't wait for Jeremiah to meet his brother and sister ... He has talked non-stop this week about meeting them and how they will love him ... I say AMEN to that !!!

Please continue to pray and I will do my best to update as internet allows ...
