I am still processing all the emotions from Sunday night. Here are some that are whirling around in my heart and mind ... humbleness, joy, elation, excitement, humbleness, overwhelmed, surprised, called, humbleness, thankful, ready, scared, shocked, and HUMBLED !

All I can say is thank you Lord Jesus Christ for protecting my MEN ... Scott, Jeremiah, and Elijah were taking the trash today and his truck starting smoking and he pulled into a school parking lot as another man pulled in behind him to tell him he thought the truck was on fire ... Scott and the boys got out and with in 30 seconds the truck was engulfed in flames ...

All I can say is that something amazing must be going to happen tomorrow night at the concert because Satan is attacking .... My Zit, something else I will choose not to share on-line (women you can feel me on this one though), and now an EXPLODED TRUCK ...

Happy Birthday sweet angel girl ... as I look at you sleeping on the couch I am overwhelmed with how you have been given to me by Christ ... I love you with all my being and feel so thankful to be your mother ... I whisper in the wind today to another in China who must be thinking of you ... I pray she knows how you have blessed so many lives and changed my heart in a special way ... You are loud, sassy, and a lover of chocolate just like me .... I am beyond proud of you and I know as you figure out how to change from a baby to a little girl, it will bring us to many places and many questions ... I pray you always feel my love and support for who you are ...

We count down all big events in this house according to how many sleeps are left ... SO ONLY 3 MORE SLEEPS TILL CONCERT .... Tomorrow Amie (from my blog family) comes in town and since she is bringing brownies and has demanded to work, we will be hanging for the day sorting t-shirts, working on my picture collage, and joining the fun will be Mary Pat, Katie, Suzanne, and Anna (the kid count running around screaming and playing is still yet to be determined ... I am guessing around 20 or so !!!!) ...A day of working, eating, and just good ole girl time laughter .... Who could want anything else ....

OK, I am totally reverting to some teenage stuff here and saying YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS OR YOU WILL BE SO OUT OF THE LOOP ... HEE HEE ....

Dear Scott and Mike,

You are two men going where many fear to go and you are setting an example that your children will surely follow. We are so proud of you and especially proud to be your wives ... On this day June 20th 2009, Suzanne and I were sitting at Jeremiah, Elijah and Micheal's basketball games in KY, when I see that I have missed a call from Amani. I look at Suzanne and both our hearts start beating ... I walk to the lobby so I can hear and I call Mary back ... She very sweetly tells me that she has called to wish Scott a happy Father's Day because he now has another child (legally) MATTY JOSEPH WAYNE OATSVAL !!! I of course am beyond giddy and my heart is beating so fast ... I tell Mary that Suzanne is with me in case she needs her cell phone number ... Mary so kindly tells me since Suzanne and I are like sisters, that I can give her the good news ... I walk back in the gym and tell Mike Happy Father's Day he now has another daughter, JOSIE LOVE MAYERNICK .... WHAT A FUN DAY ... We of cousre won the game and took off to a celebratory dinner and ice cream with the families and team .... HAPPY FATHER'S DAY Scott and Mike ... You are with out a doubt two of the best FATHER's in the world ...

We now wait for a court date ... It would be a MIRACLE if we get this before court closes sometime in July, but I serve a God who is truly in the MIRACLE business ... otherwise we will anxiously await September to travel ...

Matty Joseph and Josie Love have been at Amani together for a long time and we pray they can hear our prayers for them and the love we will be covering them with FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES ...

God, please continue to bless our journey to Uganda, protect our children till we arrive, and keep all of our eyes focused on you !!!!

I know I said I wasn't posting while on vacation, but had to share a couple of quick praises ...

1. Our I71-H came in the mail (our immigration papers for those who don't know) ... YEAH, WE CAN GO TO UGANDA NOW ...

2. We got an email that said custody papers will be signed next week and we could be preparing to travel 1st of September for MATTY JOSEPH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. and right after the email about going to get Matty Joseph, we get a call from a friend who says they just received a $1000 donation for our adoption ... DO YOU SEE HOW GOD DOES THAT !

4. AND KATIE IS IN THE STATES ... I will get to see her Sunday when I get back ... I beyond excited to sit at her feet awhile and hear in details what God is doing in Uganda, how her visit w/ Matty Joseph was and just hang w/ my sister !!!

REMINDER SHE IS SPEAKING AT OUR CONCERT ... DON'T MISS THE CHANCE TO SEE HER IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO COME ...

Reading a fabulous book THE HELPER and the word keeps leading me to scriptures about not judging ... I know I have to work my heart issue with those who say they don't feel called to speak up for the ORPHANS, help an ORPHAN, or even see ORPHANS as real people, or give me that ARE YOU CRAZY LOOK when I start talking about ORPHANS ... Good word as always from the Lord ... I will work on it ...
