I just don't have words to describe the blessing our family experienced tonight as we watched the African Children's Choir Concert (all these precious orphan children are from Uganda, so you know this mama's heart was exploding) ... The gift of music and dance these children have was obviously a gift from the Lord and being used to glorify HIM... They radiated hope, love, and joy up on the stage ... I was completely moved in my spirit and heart to watch them ... Scott and I captured a glimpse of how we want heaven to be like as our children danced and sang along with the choir ... I truly believe we are raising a generation that GET IT ... No keeping it in the box here in the OATVALL TEAM... I pray my children live on the edge w/ the Lord leading the way ... Of course, we never go anywhere w/ out a POSSE (Mayernick's, Gage's, Ondrea and her peeps, and my Anna) ... We were all sporting our blue "147 million orphan" shirts and actually sold a few ... ONLY GOD !!! Enjoy the pictures and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS KEEP "THE LEAST OF THESE" IN YOUR HEART AND ASK GOD WHERE HE IS CALLING YOU TO ACT ON THEIR BEHALF!

What else would 3 moms do on a beautiful summer day, but sew some new ADOPTED t-shirts to help bring Joseph home, while their 15 children played, ate, made a mess, and had a blast ... Thanks to Suzanne for hosting at her home and to Ondrea for bringing her sewing machine and to both ladies for their very CREATIVE and CRAFTY minds ... We created a LIMITED EDITION t-shirt (only 20 shirts) ... A super cute pink shirt w/ a cut out tear away look w/ the word ADOPTED ) ... Will hope to post them soon ... We had a fun day (even w/ eating the low calorie soup while the kids chowed down on pizza ... hee hee ... don't ask, but I will say one thing BROWNIES) ... We could only get 13 kids pictured because one was napping (no idea how through all the noise ...MIRACLE) and then one just wasn't feeling the camera today and opted to hid outside ...

Blessed is a woman, who has true friends to walk a long journey with ... Love You Both!

Our fingerprint appointment came in today ... We go June 2nd ... YEAH ... what can I can say, but we are all excited about our Matty Joseph coming home ... He has his bed ready (w/ big bro Elijah) and I have found all the 4 t clothes that I have even though I think they will be to big I am sure MJ can carry off the baggy look w/ total style ... He has his own new FRA shirt to wear to Daddy's basketball games ... We will be working on a double stroller for Maggie and Matty Joseph to share ... This mama doesn't play out in public ... No running into streets, running around stores, or anything that let's my kids out of my site ...  Hope you enjoy a new OLD picture of our little guy ! 

I haven't had a chance to download pictures yet, but I did want to share what has been going on the last couple of days ... Wednesday Suzanne and I went to M'boro to share Katie's journey and tell them about the amazing children in Uganda ... The women were so gracious and moved ... I met a couple of sweet ladies WAITING for their daughters from China ... I was moved by these two women and their faithfulness to walk this very long journey ... I have always thought of all the precious little girls in China that need a MOMMY/DADDY to wait ... And then my sweet 3rd interim care angel Lola Belle (Now forever named Isaiah) came w/ her mommy and I got to hold, cuddle, and kiss her sweet face ... Melissa (Isaiah's mommy) and Linda (Elly's mommy) are two precious women in my heart ... Becoming an interim care mommy was such an honor and a blessing the Lord allowed our family to experience and I will never forget these two women's faces when I saw them holding their daughters ... Thank you Melissa for coming and bring Isaiah for me to see .... (I will totally post pictures of her soon per Melissa's permission).

First, I have to say that I am really missing you all and hope to have a BLOG CHECK IN day really soon ... I know God has been doing some amazing things in your life and that encourages me, so I want take some time and visit w/ your blogs ...

Secondly, we were on a basketball trip this weekend so I took a book to read called THE DREAM GIVER by Bruce Wilkinson and I am inviting all my friends and family to read it with me so we can all be on the same page ... I know you, just like me feels a CALL by the Lord to something big and the beauty is that His DREAM for us is EVEN BIGGER than our own ... He desires us to follow that DREAM that is deep in our hearts planted by Him, so we can show others HIM and bring glory to Him (see the HIM theme) !!! This book is so simple, yet has some amazing truths in it as to why we don't follow our DREAMS or how to handle those who get in the way of our DREAMS or discourage our DREAMS ... (p.s. We came in first in our tournament .... 7 championships in a row baby !!)

Thirdly, we sold over 50 shirts this weekend, so keep the orders coming .... BRINGING AWARENSS to the orphan crisis is definitely one of my DREAMS/CALLINGS FROM THE LORD/PASSIONS ... Joseph update ... Homestudy done, Immagration papers filed and Custody papers sent to Uganda ... SO EXCITED TO BE MOVING FORWARD ... I can't wait to hold him in my arms and see him running around the house w/ his brothers and sisters .... I will be posting a picture of his room soon ... Elijah and him will be sharing !!!!

Perhaps it is because my children are so young and I am forced to watch Disney,but I love Miley Cyrus's new song THE CLIMB ... It speaks to my spirit about our time here on earth ... We are always in a CLIMB of some sort ... Although I don't really like the part where "it says it doesn't really matter what is on the otherside", BECAUSE ALL THAT MATTERS IS WHAT IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CLIMB ... Personally the song just really challenges me to CLIMB well no matter what. Even though I would really like to move a few mountains "here and there" on my journey, that it is perhaps all the CLIMBING that strengthens my faith, makes me long to be with the Father more, shows those around me some light for the kingdom, and allows my children to see me walk close to the Father ... Now my faith is in a Savior that if He chooses, He could move a few mountains for each of us ... like restoring Abe fully, healing Cade's eye, putting hair on Maggie's head, giving Joseph his hearing back, allowing Josie to walk, feed all of the children Katie serves in Uganda with just a spoken word and restoring so many broken hearts, but I will tell you in the midst of all the CLIMBS Scott and I have grown so dependent on Christ, we are falling deeply in love with Him more and more each day, and hopefully we have set our children on a path of service, prayer, and obedience to God ... I know I have seen the Alexander's humble themselves and glorify the Lord each day with a passion that only comes from someone who has seen HIM in their child, I have watched Chris/Carlee become such prayer warriors and people of strength through all of Cade's surgeries, I know Maggie has changed our family and shown us truly how to love, I feel Joseph in my heart is a little guy that will put smiles into everyone's heart for the Lord, and I know the Mayernick family will show many blind obedience as they bring little Josie home from Uganda, and watching, walking, and welcoming all the Lord has to teach me through Katie and all she sees will most definitely change us all !!!! SO LET US CONTINUE THE CLIMB FRIENDS AND SHOW OTHERS THE WONDERS OF CHRIST ...

Grace Mayernick put this collage together for me ... Can you believe God allowed her to see my son while she was visiting Katie a couple of months ago and we didn't even know he was our SON yet ... God drew her to him so I could have these pictures ... The other pictures she has on the collage were given to her by sweet volunteers from Amani on facebook !!!

We have accepted a referral to the most precious little 3 year old boy from Uganda !!! I can't give you anything more than that right now, but as soon as legally possible I will share with you all about him !!!!

I only ordered 25 to start w/ )

I AM PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS TO BRING JOSEPH HOME ... God does not have Abigail ready for our family yet, but we will be ready when He does ....
