My sweet friend MaryBeth gave me two twin beds for the girls (Batman masks furnished by Jeremiah/Elijah) ... We put them up yesterday, got new sheets, and the girls bought these big Dora pillow dolls ... I am desperate to try anything to get some sleep ... I have been wondering if the girls sleeping separate would keep them from bumping, kicking, and hitting one another during their sleep and waking them up ...

RESULTS FROM LAST NIGHT ... Maggie only woke once for a change of her pull-up ... went right back to sleep and we all slept till 8:30 ... CAN YOU SAY MIRACLE ... Elijah didn't have school today, so we all sleep till we woke up ... What a difference a good sleep can make ...

SO PRAY IT WASN'T A FLUKE ... Also, the doctor wants Maggie to go for another chest x-ray next week ... They are concerned about her breathing again ... We are on steriods and breathing treatments again...

Not much else to report ... EXCEPT STEFFIE (NEVER TOO MANY) IS COMING FOR A TWO DAY FUN TRIP ... Steffie and I traveled together to get our daughters in 2005 ... My travel group has become such an important part of my life and I am just beyond myself that Steffie, Emmie, and Sofia are coming !!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, big thanks to all the laughs ... It has been a rough week and you all cheered me up so much ... Jamie's husband loosing his pants while he was sleeping was the funniest of all ... By the way (they found his pants in the freezer) ... HILARIOUS !

OK, I know you have heard me mention this a million times, but here is your chance ... This fabulous devo is on sale at Lifeway bookstore for only $5 until Feb. 19th ... This book has changed my spiritual life ... If I had the money I would buy you all one ... I highly suggest you buy a few extra and when God speaks to you about someone then hand them one ... I have given over 15 away and each time God's voice was clear in calling me to do so ....

Just a side note ... Had a horrible night with Mags last night, and at 1:30 God just called me to pray and in the middle of praying for my family God brought all of you to my heart and I prayed for all of you ... I prayed God would let you know how thankful I am for the blessing of your encouragement, that He would continue to show you how to encourage those around you and that if you are in need of encouragement that He would bring someone to lift you up like you have done for me ...

So in the spirit of my prayers getting to focus off me and mags for a minute ... this is what I would love for you to do for me ... SEND ME A JOKE, TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR DAY, SOMETHING COOL ABOUT YOURSELF, OR JUST ANY CRAZY THING THAT POPS IN YOUR HEAD ...your comment will highlight my day !!!! love you all !!!!

Pray for my SIL and her family ...They are waiting on their I71H to travel to Malawi to bring this precious angel home...Savannah-Hope is breathtaking and I can't wait to get my hands on her, arms around her, and kiss all over that face !!!

Can I just say I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to airport when a child of the FATHER comes home to their forever family ...

Clothes, leotard, goggles, and shoes about 4 sizes to big ... AND YES WE LEFT THE HOUSE LIKE THIS ...

Life with 4 kids is keeping me on my toes and I am hoping will keep me in shape ... Speech is going really well with Maggie ... She has mastered the "open" and "close" concept and is putting it into action and is still doing well with putting two words together as I mentioned last time ... She loves looking at the pictures and naming us all ... We still have not mastered the sleep issue and I pray God's healing on her heart ...

Elijah had to have a tooth pulled this week (& he has red hair need I say more)... He was rewarded by a toy from Target ... Emily has been quite moody lately and I am trying to work out some special time with her as I know the transition with Maggie is starting to effect her ... Jeremiah is my rock as always ... You can set your clock by this child ...

We are getting close to the 3 month mark of having precious Maggie and I feel I have to share with anyone who is considering an older COP child that God is amazing in how He transforms you ... Pray over your decision and know you could possibly be stepping into a situation you can not control and that will require you to be selfless ... I am amazed at how God has changed me as a person through bringing Maggie home ... There are so many trivial things I don't' waste time on or even think about anymore ... She has grown my heart in ways I never thought possible and when I am at the end of my rope for the day God steps in and gives me more ... I have surrendered to Him ... Exhaustion, frustration, no alone time, no quiet time, NO Me right now has to be okay on some days ... because what is the alternative ??? The Oatsvall Family would not be complete or happy without this precious angel and to miss the blessing of her would be a tragedy ... I pray so often for Maggie's birth mother that she would feel God's love and peace around her and that some how He would let her know that Huai Chang now Maggie Tara Chang Oatsvall is treasured and loved every second of every day ....

There is such limited time these days for the computer ... Maggie's days are getting much better,and her nights worse ... I am so excited to report the following words from my sweet treasure .. "Mama Waffle", "Mama Botty (potty)", "Mama Juice", "Nite Nite", "Boom Boom"(taught to her by her brothers ...lol) ... I have had some sweet people help me and I will be starting speech with Maggie on Wed/Fri while Emily is at school ... I debated on getting professional help from the state and decided against it ... I think another new person in her life is too much right now and I think it will help her and I attach even more ... So please pray as we begin that ... Elijah had his first basketball game two Saturdays ago and scored 4 points ... He makes everything look fun ... Jeremiah has just become the biggest helper ever ... He and his daddy when to speak at his Mimi's small group church meeting and Jeremiah just shared his heart and what he feels like God is pointing him to do ... I could not be more proud of this child ... There are lots of other things going on which I can not blog about, but I know you will pray for our family ... My husband is such a rock for me and his faith and the way he looks to the bright side of things is amazing ... I am blessed woman in the deep end of the ocean right now ... I can't wait to see what God does because I know as we stand in the middle of His will for our life it has to be something so AMAZING !!!! Giving your life away is never easy, but the blessings that flow will change you !!!!

I am clinging to my Jesus Calling book ... I feel like it is a lifeline that God created just for me ... A lot of rambling today, but I feel like you all understand my quirkiness ... love ya !!!

Sweet Amy & April have awarded me "BLOGGER WITH A PURPOSE" award (I know there is an icon with this, but no time to grab it sorry) ... I can honestly say I never knew God could use my computer to reach so many people and have so many people reach me ... I just thought this would be a cool way to stay in touch with my China Travel Group Family and get a few laughs ... I find my blog as a life line to the most wonderfully, strong, and encouraging group of people I have NEVER met (lol) ...

God promises in His word to not never give us more than we can handle as long as He is leading the way ... I focus myself each day on the fact that whatever the day may bring (and these days with sweet Mags you never know what a day is going to look like)that the Lord will do it with me ... He will stay up all night with us and work through the terrors, He will pat my back during my confusion over her whining and frustration that she can't make me understand what she wants, He will laugh at us as we play and tickle, He sits beside me in the doctor's offices, He rejoices at the moments when Maggie opens up to Scott a little more each day, He holds my hand as I worry about my husband's job, and so much more ...

Since so many of you give me the strength each day to seek the Father and place Him first in my life I give you all the "Blogger With A Purpose" award ... Your affirmation and encouragement have gotten me through so much these last few months ... I look forward to the day when I can visit all your blogs on a regular basis and become more intimately involved in your life !!!!
